I've thought of that too and I already played it and won with it against a Toril army. In my opinion, it is a very strong army. The only drawback is that it is slow.

Is there any way you could edit it to include the VC units? Those are also in Battleplan, under Options>include VC units.

Bells is like, 30 minutes from me, but sadly June 29 is my brothers bachelor party. Ill keep my eyes open for future tourneys though - I'd love to come.

Sad to hear it KC, we'd love to have you one of these times.

How about this from Marr:
Gorillinators x2
Zaeus
Kursus
Laglor

Oh yeah, G-Nators.

Also considering:
Su-Bak-Na
Nagrubs x2
Dividers x5

Or:
Acolarh
Aubrien Archers x3
Warriors of Ashra x3

Or:
Augamo
Black Wyrmling x5
Blue Wyrmling x5

Or:
Tomoe Gozen
Kaemon Awa
Tagawa Samurai
Tagawa Samurai Archers
Izumi Samuri

On paper it looks really slow, but those MoU can be really tough. I wasn't sure how hard it would be to keep them all together.

This is fun, but it didn't really have a "big hitter" other than Kurus, and he can be pretty swingy. He didn't do much when I used him. But I only tried him this one time, maybe next time he will perform better.

I had success with Airborne Elite, Izumi Samurai, Carr, Drake v1.0, and Krav Maga. But the AE dropped on height in the second round and rolled very well. About took out the opposing army by themselves.
Hot dice can pretty much make any unit look like a world beater.

It wasn't hard to keep them together at all. I moved out a squad of MoU then Taelord, then Raelin and took it from there. I only lost one MoU in the battle and it was over in 5 or 6 rounds.

Re: June 29 Western PA bi-monthly - Planet Wars

I have been focusing all my on the other planets but Earth. As I was looking through the list, the old melee gladiator army comes to mind. It is set up perfect for this point value.

Spartacus 200
Capuan Gladiators x 4 280

It is easy order marker management and you get 4 turns every round, plus the INITIATIVE advantage and the common squads get +1 for both offense and defense.

Re: June 29 Western PA bi-monthly - Planet Wars

K, should be all updated. Lemme know if I missed something.

I'm okay ruling that Warden is from Alpha Prime. So let it be written, so let it be done!

I'm also okay with Silence and Solitude as a map, if someone can bring it.

Also I'm going to have to miss this one due to wedding stuff. I'll keep managing this thread, though.
