Poll: Favorite C3G design by LD: Good Pig (LD/Art)!
This thread will periodically have polls to celebrate the contributions of C3G's members. This originally started out as a poll of favorite designs by LDs, but we have also have polled the favorite card art by Artist as well. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to vote in the current poll!
We were talking about IamBatman's long list of C3G designs and started debating which one was his most popular in the sanctum. I've decided to take it public to find out exactly which one that would be. He's got a lot of designs to choose from, so we'll need every single member and fan of C3G out there to stop by and give their 2 cents.
The reason why you pick a design is entirely up to you. It can be your favorite one to draft, the one that generated the most epic C3G game experience memory, the one that opened up some new design space within C3G, the one you feel most accurately reflects a character you know and love, or whatever reason that pops to mind other than the card art (that would be a different poll). To help make it a little easier on you, everyone can list their top 3 and we'll see which design pops up the most. Just be sure to mention why you made your picks when you post.
Here is the list of IamBatman LD's that are currently released to the public (as far as IamBatman can recall having made):

tcglkn
Spoiler Alert!
He's got about half as many as Bat's does, which is still a lot to choose from. So for this poll, everyone gets 2 votes this time around. Here is tcglkn's released cards list, it includes a few VDO's and glyphs in case you decide you like one of them the best.
The Flash - 6 votes
M.O.D.O.K. - 5 votes
Red Skull - 4 votes
Arkham
Spoiler Alert!
Hope everyone has had a chance to get in some games with the new units released for the 10th Anniversary. Or maybe you just dove into the realms of Mortal Kombat or Horror movie franchise figures in our time away. If so that experience will prove valuable now, as our next Hero to put under the microscope is none other than Arkham. With 43 cards to choose from, lets go back to 2 votes per person. I've left a few unreleased units in this list, we'll see if anyone who play tested them (or just with outer sanctum access) throws a vote their way.
Top 2 finishers were:
Jason - 6 votes
Martian Manhunter II - 5 votes
Johnny139
Spoiler Alert!
Now we are going to take a look at all that Johnny139 has accomplished in his long reign as a C3G hero. Released units only this time around, but there are a couple of glyphs to consider here. With a list stretching 41 options long, keeping with the two votes per person rule.
Winner by a wide margin was: Starlord! Runner up: Dr. Manhattan Of Note: For the first time a non-character card finished in the top 3, the E-Ray Glyph was tied for 3rd place.
A3n
Spoiler Alert!
Next up for our poll we will be looking at the many contributions A3n has made over the years. An impressive list to be sure, and he's still adding to it! He's got terrain, maps, glyphs, and DO's in addition to all the character cards. This allows us to do something a little different with this poll, so pick your top 2 Character cards, then you get one bonus vote that must be used on a non-character card.
Glyphs:
01: Glyph of Gift of Atlantis (Hahma's Design)
02: Glyph of Temporal Displacement
03: Glyph of Shield Belt
Destructible Object:
01: DO: Satellite Dish
Maps:
01: Map: Corner High Rise
02: Map: The Sewer Entrance
03: Map: Ruins of Heroes Past
04: Map: Crime Alley
05: Map: Sanctum City Piers
06: Map: Hol Hall
07: Map: Helicarrier Map
08: Map: Tri-ways War Zone
Terrain:
01: Terrain: Toxic Waste Barrel
Results: Wonder Woman & the Glyph of Temporal Displacement were the two clear favorites!
Japes (favorite LD and favorite Art)
Spoiler Alert!
After a long hiatus, the public scrutiny of C3G's contributors continues with the one, the only, Japes! His individual card design output may be low, but his behind the scenes impact has been out of this world. A prolific member of the projects art team, Japes has 100's of card art credits, he's worked on C3G rule books, C3G terrain projects, runs his own poker sized card project, hashed out C3G management rules/structures frameworks, and made countless contributions to other people's LD's in terms of ideas as well as moral support. He's one of the oils that keep the C3G engine running.
As such for this round we are going to have two different polls, first one is the traditional favorite LD pick, everyone gets just one choice here. Second one is a favorite card art credit. He's made it easy on us by narrowing his many art credits down to his own personal top 25 and 1 list. So name the 2 cards from his top 26 list that you like the most, and share why!
Results: Firestorm was the top LD, while White Tiger and Karolina Dean finished tied for the most impressive Art Credit.
Yodaking
Spoiler Alert!
It was only a matter of time before the spotlight got turned around and pointed at me, the one and only Yodaking. I've tried to leave my fingerprints on the tables of many a C3G room. The Map Department was where I got involved early on in the project, then later on I added a new set of rules to the game. Along the way I also made a big push on Destructible Object Buildings, unfortunately that never made it out of the development and testing stage. My latest passion project was to give the Transformers the place inside C3G it richly deserves.
Now it's your turn to determine what was the best use of my time. Vote twice on your favorite character card (from a list of 25), plus one additional vote for your favorite 'other' contribution (a list of 15). Here is my complete list, unreleased units were included and appear in purple. Those who have seen the unreleased units can vote for them if they really want too.
Results: Amanda Waller & Daredevil tied with 3 votes each Of Note: 16 of the 28 card options received at least 1 vote Other Contributions Category: Spell Rules win with 7 votes, Island Plane Crash was the runner up with 3 votes.
quozl
Spoiler Alert!
Alright, quozl got back to me with a real quickness and it looks like we're all ready to move forward here. He's been a long time member of C3G in good standing, producing many fabulous designs as both a hero and continuing to come back again and again as a legend. Spearheading your favorite mutated turtles inclusion into your C3G game day, this is going to be a tough choice for some of you. With 30 character card designs, you get two votes, then a 3rd bonus vote for whichever one Map, Glyph, or DO you enjoy using the most.
Results: Frankenstein with 6 votes came in first, Leo was second with 4.
Other Contributions: Infinity Gauntlet Glyph won with 4 vote & 2 of the individual Gems also picked up a vote, while the map X Marks the Spot came in 2nd with 3 votes.
Karat
Spoiler Alert!
Karat has had a resurgence of activity of late after taking some personal time away from the project, as such he actually has as many designs sitting On Deck and unreleased ( 8 ) as he ran from start to finish as a Hero that are released ( 8 ). That won't be true for long though with two more designs already in the pipeline, or perhaps the April release with tip the scales the other way. We'll see soon enough, in the meantime lets talk about those designs that are release as of today. You get just 1 vote here, so weight you options closely and choose wisely.
Results: Blink wins with 4 votes, then 4 other designs each received 2 votes (Dracula, Living Mummy, Spectre, & Havok)
Ronin
Spoiler Alert!
Next up we have the stellar contributions of Ronin to take a prolonged look at. He joined our merry band back in 2015, and was once the glue that held our shoddy project together. Now he's living it up as a legend and closing in on 50 different cards. For now though, there are just 36 to consider, so I'm giving you 2 votes each to help you narrow it down some.

Lord Pyre
Spoiler Alert!
Lord Pyre is another hero who has recent returned to the fold with a flurry of new activity (seriously, he's got 11 new designs either On Deck or in the process of getting there). He's the king of Indy comics, so one of your two votes must be cast for a non-Marvel, non-DC design. The other vote can be for anything you like. And if you liked Lady Death, know that she has many allies on the way!

Hahma
Spoiler Alert!
OG C3Ger Hahma is up to bat for our newest round. At 49 character designs from 2010 to 2013 (notably almost all of them Marvel), Hahma's designs were a prolific addition in the project's early years.
Wolverine takes first with a whopping seven votes!
Grey Owl: LD and Art
Spoiler Alert!
Up next is another "early bird" to C3G Grey Owl, who contributed to the first master set and was an original Art Team member. Vote once for your favorite LD out of 11 designs and once for your favorite card art!
The victor has been declared The Mighty Thor for design and his Alternate Thor card for art!
Good Pig: LD and Art
Spoiler Alert!
Next up is yet another classic C3G member Good Pig, an early C3G Art Team member and lead designer. Vote once for your favorite LD out of 14.5 designs and once for your favorite card art!
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Nice! Any particular reason why he's your top pick that you feel like sharing? Also since he has 100 designs to choose from I'm letting people make 3 choices each (trying to avoid having 30 designs tied for first place with 1 vote each), so you can pick out 2 more 'favorites' if you want to.

I would love to see this done for each Hero and Legend, yes, please.
We can do one poll at a time for each then, maybe have the current focus of the poll choose who goes next until we run through everyone. I'll give this poll 2 weeks to collect votes before thinking about moving on to a new subject.

He's got some of the more interesting mechanics and was one of the first factions I really played a bunch.
The other 2 would have to be: #'s 6 and 66.
6 for similar reasons to Sinstro and 66 for the sheer awesomeness of him and the Horseman.
Interesting. I give a lot of credit to Anti-Monitor and Galactus for really embodying the "Event Hero" name and adding a fun, scenario-like way to play Heroscape - which I know was a team effort but Bats gets the marquee at the end of the day.
That being said, I think I'll give my vote for Green Lantern (Hal Jordan). Not my favorite Lantern design, but it's elegant and brilliant and a lot of fun.
1. Captain America - Hal Jordan or Anti-Monitor didn’t make my list because while the concepts they introduced (Battery Markers and Event Heroes, respectively) were mind-blowing, I think other units have done equally cool stuff with those concepts over the years. Cap is the first Avenger, and in my opinion the best Avenger. Almost certainly my most played C3G unit of all time.
2. Batman (II) - He can be a new character every time you play and always has the right tools for the situation.
And a newer one that I really like a lot;
3. Jessica Jones - Really captures the theme of a character I like a lot.
