Re: The Book of Bebop - Design
NAME = BEBOP
SPECIES = MUTATE UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = BRUTE PERSONALITY = CLUELESS SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 6 MOVE = 6 RANGE = 1 ATTACK = 5 DEFENSE = 6 POINTS = 310 "WE WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING!" After revealing an Order Marker on this card and before taking a turn with Bebop, you may take a turn with another Brute Hero you control within 4 clear sight spaces of Bebop. SHODDY GUN SPECIAL ATTACK Range 5. Attack 4. When attacking with this special attack, if you roll more shields than skulls, this special attack can not be used for the rest of the game. TOO DUMB TO FALL 3 Once per round, if Bebop would be destroyed by receiving wounds, he instead takes no damage. For the rest of the round, if any player rolls the 20-sided die to take temporary or permanent control of Bebop, that player may add 3 to the roll. Re: The Book of Bebop - Design
I like it! Only thing I'm iffy on is the first power title.
Any thought of something like "ROCK AND ROLL LIFESTYLE"? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Bebop - Design
What are the other Brawler options after Rocksteady?

Re: The Book of Bebop - Design
I believe the only other Brawler is Lobo, who seems exactly like the kind of guy Bebop and Rocksteady would hang out with.

Re: The Book of Bebop - Design
Yeah, all I'm seeing is Lobo. I was thinking Strong Guy, but he's a Bruiser. Lobo is 330, Rocksteady is 290, Beebop shouldn't be 380, so you'll need something to go with them to make a 1000 point army. Maybe shoot for 310 so the three of them total 930, then they can take on the TMNT & Splinter.

Re: The Book of Bebop - Design
Still fun here. Shoddy Gun is a funny power that fits pretty well. I'm okay with Lobo bonding, he isn't used much at all and definitely feels like a similar character.
Like Superheroes and Comics?

Re: The Book of Bebop - Design
I almost suggested moving them over to Minion, because I like that class for henchmen types, but it might be better to keep them in something relatively contained that we're not looking to expand, to maximize the relevance of Rocksteady as a bonding partner.

Re: The Book of Bebop - Design
I like them as Brawlers and like that set of three with Lobo a lot.
I'd guestimate BeBop at 270 points right now, which gives you those three and Oracle at 1,000. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Bebop - Design
“Hellbent” might be more succinct... although perhaps a little too extreme for what are essentially comic relief characters.

Re: The Book of Bebop - Design
Yeah, of course the joke is that they think they are such awesome bad dudes and then they screw everything up.
Maybe just add "We will" to Destroy Everything? |
