Its model number and name are #031 / Purifier Battle Armor. or The figure used for this unit is a Mechwarrior figure from the Dark Age set. Its model number and name are #016 / Hauberk Battle Armor. _________________________________________________________________ Character Bio - Many mad scientist and misguided tech geniuses have constructed mechanical warriors of all sizes in their bid to take over the world. Some of these greater minds, such as Gizmo, Professor Ivo and Toyman use small robots as their minions in order to create a massive army to overwhelm their enemies. _________________________________________________________________ -Rulings and Clarifications-

NAME = MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTS
SPECIES = ANDROID UNIQUENESS = COMMON SQUAD (3) CLASS = CONSTRUCTS PERSONALITY = SUBSERVIENT SIZE/HEIGHT = SMALL 2 LIFE = 1 MOVE = 5 RANGE = 3 ATTACK = 2 DEFENSE = 2 POINTS = 40 DISENGAGE Mechanical Constructs are never attacked when leaving an engagement. EXPERT CLIMBING When moving up levels of height to move onto a space with Mechanical Constructs, do not count spaces for the first two levels and only count one space for each two levels after the first two. You may ignore Mechanical Constructs' height when climbing. Mechanical Constructs never take falling damage or major falling damage. Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. Best part the whole squad is only $0.35. Picked up these guys a year ago and there are three on each and different styles/colors to choose.

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

This was already discussed and voted on in the other thread so here are the results so far...
40 points seems really good for this version. NAME OF THE TEST UNIT Gizmo-Bots Army Test X - Does it pass, Yes or No? no - What should be the unit's point value?inconclusive - Give a brief overview. as a common squad they are pretty simple. there main purpose is to fill space and clog the map up so I just want to get a baseline as Gizmo will pick up the slack in cost. This test was somewhat useful but only in telling me what I didn't like. Map:Broken Skyline Units: Gizmo-bots x2 (80) vs Antman Pym (30) + 5 Fire Ant Swarms (80)

Army Test 2 - Does it pass, Yes or No? yes - What should be the unit's point value?40 - Give a brief overview. Now they feel more like what I want. Minor annoyances that wil make you waste an OM attacking them before you get to the real targets but with the staying power of tin cans. This one started with Ants' looking like they were going to run away with it winning initiative the first three round but the bots's came back with a rally to take it with one bot left. Recap: Should Poison sting on Fire Ant Swarms work on androids? Currently it does. Are you going to cut those off and rebase 1 per base or is the idea to have 3 per base/hex, 3 in a squad, so really 9 toys total but they only count as 3 figures? I think I'd just buy the sets of 3 and leave them as 3 to a base. That way they look better on the board in terms of space. If you only had one of those 3 per hex that would be a lot of open space and it would seem odd that you couldn't move though them without getting stopped.

What name are we going with here? The thread says Gizmo-Bots, but the unit is named Mechanical Construct Decoy.
Should their class be Construct? What's the reasoning behind 2 range? Normally we only use ranges that short for stretchy/shape-shifting type characters. C3G: Taking Superheroes to a Whole New Level! Every time I see them I think they should double nicely for the Toyman, so I think it would be nice it they had a more generic name.
