I like everything about it, including the new "Legendary Creature" power with an associated number. I feel like 3 might be on the high side, but time will tell.

I've always liked Minotaurs, and this is a very cool design.

I'm not sure if Asterios being from Earth is going to go over well with everyone, but it doesn't bother me.

The Bio says Earth, but the card says Feylund.

I voted based on the card version. I would find Earth as its homeworld irksome.

Ah, I didn't notice the card said Feylund It was in spoilers and I saw the bio first, didn't think to check if they were different. I would also prefer him to be from Feylund (it's just not as big a deal if he's from Earth for me), but either way it needs to be consistent on what planet he is from.

Oh my bad, I had forgot to correct the bio. He was initially from Earth, but when we presented him to the pre-SoV workshop, the point was made that Feylund would be more logical. We changed him to come from Feylund, but the bio wad not double checked

I corrected the presentation, thanks for pointing that out. If you have any other concern, please also tell them.

As for the concern that +3 defense is too much :
To be a viable anti-squad option, he HAS to be able to kill more point of squads than his own cost (or at least it should work for the majority of squads). The first version added an automatic shield instead of +3 dice, but it made him nearly un-killable for squad with low attack. with only +2 dice, a large portion of the squads (and I'm speaking of squad alone, even for squad that have bonding option. Moreover the simulation assumed that Asterios was always able to do 3 attacks, in reality it is often not the case against ranged squads.) was able to kill him without losing 120point. He loses to others heroes. If squad could get the upper hand against him, he would only be a figure with bad matchup, and he would never see play.
In fact, the worst squads against him are the gorilinators and aubrian archer, I think. Nearly all others low attacks (<= 2) squads have either a mean to boost their attack (Wait Then Fire, Homing Device), a bonding with a hero (the arrow and blade gruts for instance) or a powerfull SA (roman archers, zombies, ...).
I won't elaborate on that anymore, I think I made my point clear I'll let you make your own mind by testing.

It's a Reaper mini, so it should be "always available," but I see that even the Reaper site doesn't have it in stock. That is concerning.

Reaper said they are available to make more, according to the nomination. Let's hope they follow through. Perhaps someone on the French team could tell Reaper we might be in the market for 70-100 more of these?

I'll hold my vote off until more availability info comes through. Well thought-out nomination, though. I like it.

I have a feeling that some Minotaur sculpt out there will work for this figure. I probably shouldn't vote until we decide exactly what that sculpt is though, but I will definitely vote yes to review.
