Attacks require line of sight unless they explicitly state otherwise. That includes special attacks.
Other powers do not require line of sight unless explicitly stated. |

It's interesting because the power refers to the relationship between the target and another figure, and is silent on the relationship between the target and the actual shooter. I understand, though, that this general rule still applies.

So I'm going to put Sherman back in the "just for fun" pile. Thanks for the feedback everyone, but I think I can see now that a dragon helper is not a good use of pre-SoV time.
Ironically, my first concept for this miniature was actually a dragon slayer. Doing that in a strongly themed way has its own challenges, of course, and makes the unit more of a counterdraft pick. But maybe the dragon-slaying (and/or huge-figure-slaying) could be just a little extra-gravy effect, while focusing more on the sculpt's very obvious big automatic weapon. Quickly filling in some gaps, that could start to look something like this, which could also address Scytale's concern about a sci-fi figure trying to ride dragons and play in Aquilla's clubhouse. Just for me, the colors say Aquila more than they say Vydar, but that’s the tiniest possible quibble.

Agent Roland is a decent design overall. Personally I don't feel a good connection between his agent-ness and Trophy Hunter. That feels like something a hunter or mercenary would have, not an agent. I think the design would be better served by going one direction or the other.

That connection could be made with a backstory.
Why is there a protector like Tyrian following Jandar? We understand because of the backstory. I like when normal stereotypes are broken. It creates unique interesting characters. |

I personally like the idea of going with more of a hunter or mercenary that follows Aquilla, that seems like a really cool angle to me personally, and Aquilla sci-fi units are still an angle with untapped potential. I really like Sweeping Fire SA, feels evocative and unique.

Not sure if I'm gunna run this through the SoV yet, I've had this design for a while and originally had desire to submit it...but curious to get some feedback if this would we a simple, interesting and welcome design? I like the miniature a lot and the idea was to design a helpful hero to go with Badru outside of the expensive 140pt heroes that currently exist (excluding the cheap but lame Khosumet)

I agree that the name lacks menace. Other than that, it's an overall solid design. I like how it's both simple and useful.

I agree with Scytale. At a meta level it feels like we get a lot of units with 3 or 4 attack or defense. This mini could allow deviation on either end, possibly to come in at a lower point value.
Regardless, I like the idea. It's not *exciting* but I admire the simplicity and it is a useful unit without feeling ham-fisted.
