Are Marvel Ruins with the upper part removed allowed? I used them for the map Ruined City, which was passed in the ARV.

How do you put the height indicator numbers on the map from the overhead view? Is that inside VirtualScape, or done separately?
I'm exceedingly new to making maps, but I've got something that I'll likely end up submitting. Would like to be able to add the height indicators though so the image is clearer. |

Is that superfrog map legal? I thought Jungle pieces were required to be placed adjacent to two tiles.
Oh wait, nevermind, the tiles are under the shadow. |

Just to confirm....only 1 of the maps (the map that wins the contest) will be playtested to be included in the ScapeCon map pool, correct?

Nathan can correct me if I’m wrong, but we’re only guaranteeing that the wining map gets playtested. Other maps may be playtested and included if we like them! A non-winning map could make it in the pool while the winning map may not.

The water tiles along the edges are the way to go. Figures with water based powers should have access to water. Map design is pretty cool. I'd consider playing that same map two different ways, one with the 16 shadow in the middle and 16 water tiles along the edges, then one with them swapped so you have a little pond in the middle of the map with shadow tiles along the edges.
