FWIW the idea that Demons could only have one form already seemed wrong to me. I mean, really, do Mezzodemons and Skull Demons look the same? Plus we've got a bunch of different worlds to choose from, each of which could have very different sorts of Demons.

Worm, Annelid, either works for me. I'm inclined to agree with dok on the issue of Demon aesthetics, but I'm not sure the majority of 'Scapers will be as amicable (hence, my original preference for a different species). At this point, my Yea vote stands for Ashi-Dhulu, so long as his species does not deviate from its current status beyond reason, or in a way which would alter his synergies drastically.

Annelid, Worm, or Demon* are all fine with me, with Annelid being my preference. I have zero problem with him being a Demon and pretty much agree whole-heartedly with dok's reasoning there. Demons could look like pretty much anything, and the current scape Demons already look nothing alike. I just prefer him being an actual giant worm becuase I think that's a cooler idea

*Edit: Though I'd only be cool with Demon if he is actually an honest-to-goodness Demon, not a metaphorical 'Demon' like the worms from Dune. It would have to be more than just a nickname.

I knew it was for those kinds of things, but I didn't realise it was exclusively for. Still, I just discovered Tolkien referred to Glaurung (a dragon) as "The Great Worm", so 'Scape could potentially change it up the other way. I'm cool with Worm, though.

Btw, good luck taking the species 'Worm' seriously after watching this video.

If it's a worm, its species should be Worm. After all, Hasbro didn't try to sex up humans in the game by calling them Homonids. Avoiding the more straightforward and clear choice in order to sound "kewl" is something a junior high kid would do.

Yes, I wasn't thinking of Scientific names at all, just if he wanted to give it a more flavorful name (something like Shai-Hulud, for instance, though obviously not that, specifically). I actually prefer Worm over Annelid. I do see the argument for Demon, but that doesn't mean Demon is MORE appropriate than Worm (which seems, to me, like the clearer choice).
