I won, with a single Dund standing (3 life remaining). It started out as a slaughter, a first turn the Romans and Marcus advance and kill three knights and wound Drake for one damage. By the end of the round, Drake was dead, forcing out a lost order marker from Sir Heroscape. Meanwhile, Sharwin (who was positioned to protect Dund, who was nestled between the ruin and the lava) took three damage. By the end of the next round, the end game state (which half these battles take place in, holy cow) begins to take shape. Sharwin is dead, Dund is unwounded, and I have 5 romans remaining. Dendrick now has claimed the wound glyph, however fails to kill a roman that parked himself on lava after moving off of the glyph (this nets me two wounds on Dendrick). Dendrick moves on to the wound glyph, ending the round. Roman dies to lava, Dund takes a hit from wound glyph. Two romans left, one susceptible to an attack down from Dendrick, the other next to Dund on the three hex level 3 space. Dendrick wins init, runs over and kills the low ground Roman. OM one, Dund attempts gaze and waits. I have two remaining OMs on my final Roman, and one on Dund. Dendrick runs forward and kills the final Roman. OM 2 is on Dund, who attempts gaze, fails, but attacks down on Dendrick for the two winning wounds.

Very close game, could've gone either way. Sir Heroscape fought through some pretty bad dice rolls to make it a near toss up at the end. What a great game!

Tough game for CP.

The dice were incredibly stacked round 1. CP succesfully drained twice, but still couldn't get any hits (even 2x 5v3 down on Rae). Meanwhile Mog and the Romans wiped out all 9 stingers in my first 2 turns.

Lava did what CP couldn't in Round 1 though. 4 hits in 4 tries killing 2 Romans and hits on Rae and Mog.

Atlaga then hit Bolt of Witherwood against Raelin giving him some breathing room, but Cyp missed all his chilling touches and could only kill 1 Roman before being swarmed by Mog and the Romans and falling.

Atlaga held out big time though, hitting 4 skulls to kill Forgehammer and 5 skulls to kill Kaemon.

Unfortunately Wannok and lava did 3 wounds to him and I got the win with 3 Romans left standing.
