I feel like these guys could be common. They have no synergy that particularly matters (I don't play with customs) and they are expensive.

OLD man Hahn here .... remember that not every unit can have synergy or AWESOME combos. This is a game designed for 10 years kids

It says "roll the 20-sided die to disappear," so I would say you must.

I’d rule it’s optional.

That reads as a suggestion not a command. Even

"You must turn left to enter the McDonald's drive thru "

Still reads as optional. I think the scape precedent is:

"You must turn left. After turning left you will enter the McDonald's drive thru"
