I think that would work (though I guess it’s a slight change since she could do it after her normal attack or whatnot). Honestly, the original wording is probably good. Targeting and attacking is just such a mess in Heroscape rules that I wanted to check if there was anything weird with the trigger. I do think that suggestion seems cleaner though.

We can roll with that wording tweak then. Not too worried about the ability to pounce once after the attack, as it requires her to pounce to an enemy anyway, and she wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire W-L wise. I'll update with your other wording as well.

Yea - looks good! Wish the movie was better, though.

While wording works fine as is, I agree that Opportunistic Predator is a little unorthodox. Personally I might work it like this:

OPPORTUNISTIC PREDATOR
If a player rolls defense dice a figure within 8 clear sight spaces of Cheetah and no shields are rolled, you may immediately move Cheetah adjacent to that figure, if possible. If you do, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 6 or higher, that figure receives a wound.

You can also switch the first "player" to "opponent" if you wanted it not to work on friendlies, but I buy a villain being opportunistic against her allies.

Funny thing the card art just made me realise is that the mini is painted like a leopard (outline patches) not a cheetah (solid colour patches).

The set name for the figure used should probably be specified as Wonder Woman Gravity Feed, to avoid confusion with the Wonder Woman 80th Anniversary set. Additionally, the figure number should be #004, #007, as numbers 005 and 006 aren't Cheetah.
