In that case, if someone wants to nominate a custom they should go ahead. I'm no good for it because C3V keeps me too busy to participate here anymore, and I'd feel strange nominating someone and not being available to leave feedback for them.

Just looking over the Comic Customs list I noticed that there's not an NM24'd Aquaman. That might be a nice place to start, cince he's kind of a major player. I'd nominate one of them, but one of them is mine, so I'd rather someone else do it (hint: pick mine).
