Really cool addition to his Move 12, and I love the unblockable roll on figures he passed through.

Infinite Mass Punch Special Attack
I saved this for last.

First, I wanted to present something to check that we understand it the same way. You may recall when I questioned how Expert Climbing worked, and we discovered that we were split in how we interpreted the ability. So, apologies and a round of Burt's Beer if we are on the same page, but I think it's important to sometimes compare notes.

The focus is on the phrase "minimum number of spaces" between figures. Brave Arrow has similar wording, and this is from the FAQ for Brave Arrow:

This wasn't obvious to me when I read Brave Arrow's card, as I thought you included the target's space. So I didn't know how you folks read this. This could be an important distinction, particularly when dealing with engaged figures where the number should be 0 instead of 1. Here, you aren't dealing with engagement, because this ability requires starting unengaged.

Moving on, you indicate that you add X dice, but you haven't established a base number. If the base number is 0, then you should probably state something like "you may roll X attack dice" instead of "you may add X dice". If there's a base number such as 1, then you simply need to indicate that under the header such as Attack 1+Special.

Final Thoughts
I really like the variety you have in the various Flash-type units. This design has a nice feel similar to Hawkgirl where you have an incentive to move out, then charge in to give yourself a nice Hawaiian Punch, er, Infinite Mass Punch.

WarMachine gets two quick wounds on Flash with his Auto Chain Gun as Flash runs in with his Infinite Mass Punch. The Infinite Mass Punch landed two wounds, though (it was a 4 skull roll on 7 dice) and WarMachine took a third wound disengaging from Flash. Then WarMachine hit 2 skulls on his second Armor Piercing Rocket Launcher, and Flash whiffed on his last 2 defense dice, taking his final wounds. Very close match, but WarMachine had just the right counters for Flash.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? WarMachine with 3 Wounds wins Turn 2, Round 1.

TEST 2

Units: Flash vs. WarMachine (270)
WarMachine hit 1 of 4 rolls on his Auto Chain Gun, and landed 2 more wounds on Flash with his normal attack. Flash gave him one wound from a disengagement swipe, but failed to hit him on either full Infinite Mass Punch Special Attack (7 dice each time). He hit 3 of 5 on unblockable dice for Speed Force.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Flash with 3 Wounds wins Turn 1, Round 3.

TEST 3

Units: Flash vs. Deathstroke (280)
Terrible match up for Flash here! Deathstroke uses his Healing Factor to heal 3 wounds (all received from Speed Force unblockable attack rolls – Flash hit 3 of 4). Flash stuck to Speed Force and his special attack (when his Speed Dodge gave him a chance to start his turn unengaged) in order to avoid Calculated Defenses. Flash couldn’t land a hit with his special attack, though, and didn’t roll well enough on Speed Dodge to consistently block Deathstroke’s normal attack.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Deathstroke with Full Life wins Turn 3, Round 2.

TEST 4

Units: Flash vs. Deathstroke (280)
Flash goes 2 of 2 on Speed Force rolls and lands 3 wounds with his normal attack, risking Calculated Defenses. He can never quite finish Deathstroke off, though, and Deathstroke gets in 3 wounds on Flash with his normal attack, and finishes Flash off with Calculated Defenses.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Deathstroke with 1 Wound wins Turn 1, Round 3.

TEST 5

Units: Flash vs. Wolverine (280)
Another bad matchup for Flash. Not only could he not keep up well with Healing Factor (though he got in two early wounds with his normal attack from height), but Wolverine then came, took height, and used his Adamantium Claws to tear up Flash in one turn’s worth of attacks.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Wolverine with 1 Wound wins Turn 2, Round 1.

TEST 6

Units: Flash vs. Green Lantern Kyle Rayner (300)
I wanted to see how Flash would do against someone with low life and high defense/defensive power. Flash hit 3 of 5 on Speed Force rolls, but whiffed on defense against a three skull roll in Round 2 to lose it.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Green Lantern with 3 Wounds and Full Battery Markers wins Turn 2, Round 2.

TEST 7

Units: Flash vs. Silver Banshee (290)
Flash hits 3 of 7 Speed Force rolls, knowing he can’t get Silver Banshee for more than one wound at a time due to Magical Defense, but he whiffed against enough of Silver Banshee’s normal attacks to die first.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Silver Banshee with 3 Wounds wins Turn 3, Round 3.

Units: Flash vs. Silver Banshee (290)
Flash hits 3 of 6 on Speed Force rolls and Silver Banshee hit 3 of 6 on Accursed Wails, but Silver Banshee’s higher life was the difference.

Units: Flash vs. Iron Man Stealth Suit (270)
Flash fails to get through on a 4 skull attack on 6 dice from height, and hits 2 of 4 on Speed Force rolls. Meanwhile, Iron Man got through Speed Force with his normal attacks.

- Give a brief overview. Squads with nothing but normal attacks have no chance when Flash is rolling well for Speed Dodge. Even rolling so-so for Speed Force, Flash cut through them quickly.

Amazon Warriors had plenty of attacks, but just couldn’t crack Speed Dodge. Flash hit 9 of 23 rolls for Speed Force and used it exclusively here.

- Give a brief overview. 280 felt spot on in this close match where Flash was a front runner, but couldn’t quite give his team enough to lead to the win.

Spoiler Alert!

A Full Life Oracle almost bested a Full Life Grundy in end game, but couldn’t quite finish the job.
Flash struck first, and fast (with a boost from Booster Gold’s Temporal Displacement Glyph) and with three enemies to choose from used his Speed Force exclusively. He managed to put 2 wounds on Sinestro and 2 on Darkseid rolling 4 of 10, and Sinestro burnt his first two Power Batteries using Force of Fear to put Flash down. Flash fell in Round 3 as a result, but set up Booster Gold well (with some moral support from Oracle) for taking down Sinestro and even getting in a wound or two on Darkseid before Grundy and Darkseid finished Booster off.
This led to Supergirl matched up against wounded Darkseid and untouched Grundy. They combined to pulverize her, but only after she finished off Darkseid (partially on the power of him whiffing against a 3 skull Heat Vision Special Attack).
This set up end game with Grundy and Oracle, which Grundy just narrowly won.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Solomon Grundy with 1 Life wins Turn 3, Round 8.

This was fast and furious as the villains were rolling hot and nasty both on attacks and on D20 powers. Wally West Flash relied on his Speed Force again, but only hit 1 of 9, netting only a single Gorilla City Warrior kill before falling to whiffs against GCW attacks in Round 2.
Meanwhile, Gorilla Grodd capped Round 2 by mind controlling Beast Boy T-Rex and having him Chomp Barry Allen Flash in his first try!
T-Rex Beast Boy managed to Chomp one Gorilla City Warrior for his side and failed one roll against Mikhlo and one roll against Grodd before falling to a hail of attacks (due in part to an unwise decision not to focus on healing and to give Vixen an Order Marker at the end of Round 3). Vixen faced more hot and nasty rolls, as Grodd leveled her in one attack.
Had the dice been kinder to Flash (both Flashes, really) I truly feel their team could have been competitive here, but it just didn’t happen. I’ve seen enough of this type of thing for Flash by now, though, to make me feel less that a bump to 280 is needed. I’ll try it for public playtesting, but if his results are lackluster, I could see a drop to 270.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Gorilla Grodd and Mihklo with 1 Wound each, and 7 of 9 Gorilla City Warriors win Turn 3, Round 3.

Seems around 280 so far. He will be brutal against squads and cluster builds, but a whiff here or there by him and he's toast. Auto-wounds will also help against him and as demonstrated in HH tests, defense reducing attacks will definitely help to counter him.

Yep. I reduced his choices to 3 figures at a time for Speed Force and ran the test against the Vampire Minions this morning (I'll update once I have the army tests), and he still dominated them (though he rolled really well for Speed Force and Speed Dodge both). So I think that's a good change, and this guy will just rock squaddies. I'm liking 280 for the army tests as well.

OK, all wrapped up. His dice were lackluster in the army tests, but I think that if he's rolling well, he could justify 280 still. So that's where I plan to send him to playtesting at unless there are any arguments otherwise.
