MAP Bio - Far on the outskirts of some nameless town, far from any city, sits an old road beneath a bridge. The bridge crosses no water, the road leads to nowhere, and nothing but trees sit for miles. An odd sense of history weighs here. What was here, in some bygone era, on this old country road? And why do mighty heroes and menacing villains still wage battle over it today?

My daughter wanted a forest map with a bridge that you could go under so this is what I made. I'm on a new computer and haven't fixed the graphics settings yet so the picture is pretty low quality.

Is the road used? from the picture I can't see why I would want to use it, but I will look at the VS later.

Pretty cool map, nice and simple, but with a interesting feature. I am also curious as to what the road would do, it doesn't seem to be very effective as is, but thats my only comment. I'll take a look at the VS later today.

Reminds me of the Road to the Forgotten Forest map, one of my favorites.

The road is pretty much cosmetic (although the bonus was used a little bit in the test I ran today) but that's on purpose because it's such a small map.

Yeah, looks a bit small but not bad. Seems usable enough to me.

Hopefully all have taken a look at the VS file. I propose we move Country Road to Playtesting.

While the road seems mostly cosmetic, if someone gets a figure early on to the first road space near their SZ, later on in the game they could have that figure make a mad dash along the road to do something. Perhaps a ground-pounder with some range can go from being out of range to being in range very quickly.
