Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 140-160.
- Give a brief overview. A bad show this game for the patriots. The team just couldn’t get themselves organized enough to give Sam his full boost. Sam did manage to deal some damage however, so he does deserve some credit. And his high move and life kept him around a while. He just didn’t get his full swing this game.
Map: Road to the Forgotten Forest.
Units: Uncle Sam, Bucky, Captain America (C3G), US Agent, and War Machine (1030) vs. Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Kilowog, John Stewart, and Ant-Man (1030).

Spoiler Alert!

Uncle Sam invites War Machine into the Patriotism, and the Avenger markers are spread around. Kilowog buffs his allies, moving afterwards, and Uncle Sam moves onto the road. Kilowog buffs again, and then hides under the bridge. Captain America and Bucky move, and Hal moves, blasting Cap for 2 wounds along the way. US Agent moves and attacks Hal, but misses. Bucky moves and attacks Hal, but fails. Hal hits Cap for 2 more wounds, and War Machine moves, shooting a wound into Kilowog. Bucky moves and shoots another wound into Kilowog, and Hal wipes out Cap. US Agent moves and manages to get a wound into Hal, and Bucky whiffs. Hal one-shots War Machine, US Agent finally engages Hal, but misses. Bucky misses and the round ends. Hal one-shots US Agent, then shoots Bucky for 2. Uncle Sam gets in Hal=s face and deals 2 wounds, and Hal fights back dealing 3 wounds. Sam rolls 5 skulls but a Battery Marker is removed, and Hal hits Sam for 2. Sam whiffs, and John moves forward and kills Bucky. Sam misses badly, and John wipes him off the board.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Team 2: Green Lantern Hal Jordan w/ 3 wounds and 3 markers, Kilowog w/ 2 wounds and no markers, John Stewart full power and unharmed, and Ant-Man unharmed.

- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 220-240.
- Give a brief overview. Uncle Sam did much better this time. The army got it together and Sam was hitting very hard by mid-game. He dealt an arsenal of wounds to everyone on the opposing team. Leaving room for Sam to jump in is key, and smart movement around a figure to keep it from leaving an engagement can allow for easy access to the figure for Sam.
Map: Road to the Forgotten Forest.
Units: Uncle Sam, Captain America (C3G), Bucky, Falcon, and Hired Guns (800) vs. Wonder Woman, Sif, Riddler, and Echo (800).

The Hired Guns appear to the Patriotic this game, and some Avenger markers appear on Falcon, Bucky, and Uncle Sam. Sif and Wonder Woman get out of the gate first, and Echo jumps onto the road. On the other side of the field, the Hired Guns occupy the road as well. Echo advances, and Captain America along with Bucky move a little. Wonder Woman moves and lashes down at Cap for 2 wounds, and Wonder Woman blocks the return assault. Bucky tries to help but misses, and the round ends. Sif moves onto the bridge, and Wonder Woman kills Cap. The Hired Guns attack, dealing Wonder Woman 2 wounds, and Wonder Woman wounds Bucky. Sam gets up into Wonder Woman’s face with a flow of Patriotism around him, hitting her for 3 wounds. Bucky takes 2, and Sam overkills Wonder Woman to end the round. Sif advances, killing Bucky, and the Hired Guns almost surround her, leaving just enough room for Sam next turn. The Guns pound 4 wounds into Sif, and she kills one of them in response. Uncle Sam enters the fray but rolls badly, and Echo moves. She Mimics the Hired Guns’ range and shoots one down. Sam then ends the round by wounding Sif. Sif kills a Gun, but Sam takes the opportunity and kills Sif. Echo wounds Sam, and Falcon finally flies in. Falcon rolls 5 skulls and hits Echo for 2, and Echo misses Falcon. Sam kills Echo, ending the round. The last Gun moves, and Riddler removes Falcon’s opporunities this round with Riddle Me This before moving. Riddler moves again, and finally Sam engages and hits for 2 wounds. Riddler takes height and hits Sam for 2, but the round ends. Riddler hits Sam hard with Riddle Me This, and gets to attack Sam twice. He almost dies, but Invunerable saves him so that he only takes 1 wound. The Hired Gun comes to save the day however, and he kills Riddler for the win.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Team 1: Uncle Sam w/ 4 wounds, ¼ Hired Guns, and Falcon unharmed..

The first game shows what can happen if you can't get an army of Patriotic figures set up in time, however the second test shows how smart placing of figures can give Sam a big boost. I'd like 3 tests for him, so we'll see what the other two bring in before we make a cost opinion.

Still liking 240 here. Sustaining an army of all Patriotic figures is going to get easier and easier over the life of this project.

- What should be the unit's point value? 230 seems ok. He feels like a real bargain for his big attack and defense. With a team of Patriots and Cap's Boost.
- Give a brief overview. Uncle Sam puts the big hurt on Bats several times but is Evasive Struck twice, He was a forward target for the Vigilantes and goes down pretty quick despite his huge defense. Cap and Bucky hold on, get lucky and are able to bring the win home, even though it was looking like a blow out for the Vigilantes.

- Give a brief overview. In this game Sam's Patriots Fell before he really got to use there bonus, He rolled poorly on defense whiffing several times, and on offense as well, missing once. Destroyed a few Hand and a wounded Boomerang. Was taken down by Winter Soldier and the numbers of the Hand.

240 still holds up strongly for me after reading those tests. His team, when well constructed, handily beat a team worth 10 more points when playing him at 230. The poorly constructed team (not enough Patriotic Heroes in the second test) didn't perform as well versus a team worth 5 more points. Eventually there should be a diversity of Patriotic Heroes available to use with him, and I think he should be priced with that in mind.
