You can call the end-of-game on: time (2-hours); on first-player-eliminated; on last-man-standing; on certain-#-of-points; etc. It is entirely up to you. Then winner is determined by: points killed; points left alive; wound points scored; last-man-standing; etc.

Whatever you choose, just make sure everybody knows what ends the game and what is the win condition.

Right. Sherman's "most people" certainly includes me; it's my favorite format. Look in the second post in that thread, it says so right there.

Road terrain power says if all movement, including starting space is on road +3 move.
What if the figure's Move value is only 3 spaces. what if only 1? what if 0?

Those figures would still receive the entire +3 movement. The figure with 0 move may have a special rule that prohibits moving (a la Marro Hive) or a special power that does.

Add 3 to whatever the card's MOVE value is. As long as ALL movement is on the road or wall-walk spaces. And as long as the figure is walking.

Figures with the flying ability can get the bonus, but they must walk to get it. This distinction mostly matters for units that have special flying powers such as STEALTH FLYING - the unit does not get the disengage-without-being-attacked if it does not fly.

Marro Hive cannot use the bonus for another reason too - its base is never going to be entirely on the road to begin with because its base is, by definition, swamp water. Even if the base is entirely atop road tiles, the base itself has changed the terrain to swamp water.

Can you attack on a ladder? Also do you get the height advantage for attack/defense if on a ladder?

Yes* and yes.

*except if your figure is directly above or below a figure on the same ladder and you are using a ranged attack. The base blocks your line of sight (in most cases). You are considered adjacent to a figure on the same ladder as yourself if either figure's sculpt prevents the attacker from being on a closer rung.

So in the case, if youre melee you still can attack someone about or below you? Wouldn't the base still block LOS?
