I think this comes down to three designs for me: Star-Lord, Iron Patriot, and Dr. Manhattan. To me, Star-Lord was a game changer, both meta game and how I view Johnny as a designer. It's a must play, must have design.
I think Norman gets lost in the sauce a little because he is tougher to use and MCU went a different direction with Iron Patriot entirely, so that added to the confusion.
Lastly, my friend recently drafted DM. He loves him, but hates the apathy, though he'd never seen or read the story. The other night when my friends logged in and voted, we had just finished watching the movie. Mid viewing, he turns to me and says, "Y'all nailed Dr. Manhattan! The apathy power totally makes sense now!" Can't ask for more than that.

The only reason Iron Patriot gets no love in my group is because when you have games of 6 people odds are against you winning initiative.

Lots of good stuff here! I know a lot of these, finally, since we started as heroes the exact same time woo!

I've always loved Iron Patriot's design, but many cases I didn't want to deal with his negative power, so he doesn't see nearly enough play.

Doc Manhattan is perfect. Nicely capped off our Watchmen designs.

Witchblade turned out real cool, was glad that Johnny took the lead there.

Star-Lord is classic now.

But I'm going to go with Nova Prime. He might be my favorite heavy hitter in that price range.

#2 is hard, but I'll pick Star-Lord since he's going to easily become one of my most played figures by default!

to no surprise to anyone...STARLORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What may have been surprising though, is for the first time a non-character card made it into the top 3 with the E-Ray Glyph tied in 3rd place. Nice going Johnny, you've impacted the game in interesting ways.

Lots of great designers still out there, but I think I'm gonna go with A3n for the next round - I was really surprised by the variety when going over his list! Very curious what will end up taking the lead there!
