Give a brief overview:-I tried saving Kick-Ass towards the middle of the fight. The Wrecking Crew were doing some damage, and pushing their way back towards Army 1's base. So Kick-Ass took the opportunity to engage Piledriver, in order to give his friends a boost, to gain the edge. It definitely helped, and he caused a couple wounds in the process. However, when they took care of everything else, he just couldn't handle them on his own of course, and was disposed of. I feel for his point value, he offers something great for his synergy, so no complaints here. It's all about picking your spot.

Give a brief overview:-This time he was up against a tad bit lower point characters than last time, and he wasn't brought in until there was a jam in the center. So he took the time to finally catch up, and I feel he played his part in the end. He helped with the attack dice, to tip it in his army's favor, but also dealt the final blow. For 40 points, I think he's a nice last pick, with leftover points, to give that extra potential to a Vigilante/Crime Fighter team. His best chances, is when there's a lot of commotion going on amongst figures, so that he doesn't make himself the main threat.

I asked him to save KA until later game, since the first few tests had him dying so quick. Looked like the strategy worked well for him there! That makes me inclined to do 40, since his bonus is really nice if you can pull it off.

If Kick-Ass is engaged with one or more figures, each Crime Fighter and or Vigilante Hero you control within 6 clear sight spaces of Kick-Ass may adds 1 die to its normal attack.

If we all agree to never have a squad of Vigilantes or Crime Fighters, we won't need to restrict this power to Heroes, but if we think we might have such a squad down the road, then we should include the restriction here. 2-4 additional attack dice in an OM is quite a bit for 40 points.
