Yes, please use a white background, there are even tips linked in the OP here.

The pics themselves look okay, but an important part of her is blurry in each picture. Either her arm or her leg.

Also, a mistake I've made in the past . . . clean off your figure of all dust and other particles.

The first two look good. If you can get shots of poses 3-5 with better lighting that would be well appreciated.

The angle isn't usable for a card, you need to boost her up so you can take the shot on level with her. The direct sunlight on the figure is great but a plain white background & side will add to the desired effect.

The white background isn't to help us cut the figure out (although it is a great benefit), it's because white reflects light & therefore bounces some of it back which helps provide tonal lighting effects. Also the white provides a colour reference for adjusting the colours.

The best set up is a white backgound perpendicular to the camera with a white wall on one side parrallel with the camera & the sun coming from the opposite side but slightly in front of the figure. If you think of a clock face looking down on the set-up where the mini is in the middle, the camera is at 6:00, the back wall at 12:00, the side wall at 3:00 & the sun at 8:00 (or the side wall at 9:00 & the sun at 4:00).

My lighting could be better; I took these later in the day instead of when the sun was high. I can take more tomorrow, I really want to get these right for you guys.
