Glyph Bio - These three rings were taken from an ancient Makluan starship by the Mandarin. Each one gives its user the ability to manipulate the fiercest of elements Fire and Ice, and also all forms of Matter. The user of the Fire Ring can easily walk through the most violent volcano without burning a single hair. The Ice Ring grants its wearer the ability to ignore the physical affects and limitations of the cold, and the Matter Ring allows the wearer to basically navigate freely through all other manner of matter.

This figure never rolls for molten lava damage or lava field damage and does not have to stop in molten lava spaces or water spaces. Slippery Ice and Heavy Snow only count as 1 space when moving.

Looks good. Nice and simple. I'm guessing you don't want to try to add a Vortex power to it.

I was thinking a Vortex could be represented by something like on the Air Elemental or Poison Ivy.

GLYPH OF ELEMENTAL RINGS
When this figure attacks a figure that occupies a water space, the defending figure rolls 1 fewer defense die. Add 1 to this figures defense while on an ice or snow space. This figure never rolls for molten lava or lava field damage.

I think this order sounds/flows better and the water power will occur on more maps so it should be the first one listed.

Hmm ... I really like it for gameplay, but given what Whitey wrote, is the lava resistant addition really thematically justified?

Technically, he should be changing terrain, but I think it works with the aestetics (sp?) we have already set up.

Hey, if it allows him to change the terrain, then it allows him to be safe from lava. I just wasn't gleaning that theme from what Whitey put down.
If that's how the ring works, though, this approach makes sense to me. That's all I needed to hear.
