I feel like Stun Grenade is a little weaksauce. Just one measly defense die off for a stun grenade? I'd go 2 as a minimum.

STUN GRENADE
Once per turn, before attacking a non-adjacent opponent's figure with any Lawman you control, you may roll the 20-sided die once for all S.W.A.T. Explosives Experts you control, as long as there is at least one within 4 clear sight spaces of the defending figure. If you roll 9 or higher, the defending figure and each figure adjacent to the defending figure, rolls 2 fewer defense dice for that attack. Destructible Objects are not affected by this power.

This will give it a little more effect that Johnny requested.

It will be only once per turn so that it's not a dice fest when attacking with Cops, Science Police or mess with the multiple attack issue with SWAT Rifleman. We don't need to roll the d20 that many times in one turn, so once per turn is enough.

I also got rid of the line where it didn't affect Sensory Assault figures because a Stun Grenade has both a flash and a bang, so since Sensory Assault figures aren't immune to sound powers, they should still be affected by the bang part of the stun grenade.

Since it's once per turn now, I lowered the d20 to 9+ because for one, it should be able to work a decent amount of the time considering they are highly trained SWAT police, and also because these guys only have a defense of 4 and 1 life. People shouldn't have to field 10 of these guys to be able to get this power to work. Ideally you should only have to field a few of these guys, along with other SWAT units and other Lawman "commander" types. Also considering there aren't always going to be DO's on a map, these guys should still be able to be helpful with their Stun Grenade.

Yeah, if it only works for that initial attack then having a decent effect on a low roll makes sense.

What's cool about this is that you've considered area attacks.

Let me see if I understand this: A lawman attacks a non-adjacent figure within 4 clear sight spaces of one of your S.W.A.T.E.E., and you have 5 on the map. Based on the wording, I'm thinking you roll the 20-sided die only once instead of 5 times. Correct?

Similar to Superman's Heroic Duty, this is what I call a non-focused ability. That's a term I use to refer to an ability you have to consider when that particular Army Card isn't directly activated.

Looks good, it will be nice to have SWAT teams on the map. One suggestion: it would be thematically cool if a SWAT explosives expert within range of the defending figure could also be affected by the Stun Grenade. That SWAT guy would roll fewer attack dice or maybe can't attack that turn.

Well if a friendly SWAT figure or any figure is adjacent to the opponent's figure affected by Stun Grenade, that figure is also affected which would mainly come into play for area of affect attacks. I don't see what being in the defending figure's range has to do with anything

Might want to edit the title with what phase we're in. I thought I had missed a bunch when it just said "The Book of S.W.A.T. Explosives Expert" and nothing after it. Wondered how we had completed a design in just 2 pages.
