Re: The Book of Cyborg - Playtesting Phase (hold)
This guy has lots of synergies coming in from being a Titan - I don't think he needs Titan specific synergies going out. Also, that will make him harder for folks in the public to test properly, which is annoying. Also, he's a member of the JLA these days, so his synergies should go beyond the Titans, IMO.
Would folks rather see him going over 200 or his normal attack down to 4? I'm good either way, but may adjust on my own after playing him some if there are no strong opinions one way or another. Glad to see folks are feeling warmer towards this version. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Cyborg - Playtesting Phase (hold)
Ok, with your logic I can see it not being Titan specific, it was just a suggestion. I don't have a preference of cost/attack so I'll let others weigh in, this design looks much more fun than the original draft. Nice work Bats/Griffin.

Re: The Book of Cyborg - Playtesting Phase (hold)
I don't have a preference as to his cost, as long as it's right for whatever powers/stats he has.

Re: The Book of Cyborg - Playtesting Phase (hold)
Cool. I'll probably see how he feels in some testing and tinker as necessary if he starts feeling like a world beater or anything.

I don't have a preference for cost either, so I am fine with attack as is.

Re: The Book of Cyborg - Playtesting Phase (hold)
I like the Classic Omnicron parallel. I kind of think the wording needs help though... Maybe just switch "defending figure" to "targeted figure" in the last part. As is it sounds like you're adding range after the attack starts, which of course wouldn't make sense.
I really have no preference for his point cost but what if his base range was 1? Doesn't this guy just kind of make his hand into a gun if he needs to? In fact, what if he had range 1 and Techno Targeting just let him add 5 to his range when attacking a figure engaged with a figure you control? Ok these are way too many comments from a guy who doesn't really know the character. Whatever you guys do you have my support. |

Re: The Book of Cyborg - Playtesting Phase (hold)
He does fight with his fists a lot, though, so I could dig a melee range direction ... something to think about. This guy isn't moving forward right away, so there's time to mull.

Re: The Book of Cyborg - Playtesting Phase (hold)
You may wanna take this back off hold.
I'm fine either way on the range and I like how his new power allows him to work well with Titans and the JLA. |

I don't want to give the impression that I'm planning on pushing this forward right away - I'm not.
