While normally the LD runs the Initial, it's not uncommon for both Heroes and Sidekicks who are tight on time to have someone else run the Initial for them. Up to you. Knocked out the hero & squad tests today. He is looking more like a 200-210 point figure as is. I think I'd like to drop the life back down to 4 and run the team tests at 190 or increase his cost to 210 for the team tests.
*update* team tests added. NAME OF THE TEST UNIT (Bug) - THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them. pass - MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the Game. pass - BONDING TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing Bonding abilities to make sure there are no continual Bonding possibilities that do not stop appropriately or do not stop at all. This is to prevent loops in Bonding. pass - SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit to powerful or too weak. pass - POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and What are the stipulations on the power if there are any. pass - FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play. pass - FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against. pass - DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting. pass - USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable. pass - STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game. pass _____________________________________________________________ Hero Tests - Does it pass, Yes or No? yes - What should be the unit's point value? As is he seems closer to the 200-210 range but he also had some very favorable dice rolling for the most part. I think I’d like to drop his life back down to 4. - Give a brief overview. Punisher is a solid ranged multi-attacker with a couple of SAs. Hydro-Man should benefit from all the water on this board and also has a SA. Living Laser can keep up with the fast moving Bug and has a SA as well. Conan is a beat stick that can attack then move and attack again when Bug leaps away. Kraven will go on the hunt and try to tie Bug down with his Bolos. Map: Conflict Chernobyl – no glyphs

Army Test 1 - Does it pass, Yes or No? yes - What should be the unit's point value? 190 seems fine - Give a brief overview. We can see how the Bug/Bucky combo at 250 stacks up with Spider-Man at 250 while also comparing that duo to the Punisher/Robin package. Wrecking crew prefers to engage for the most part but Thunderball has a ranged special attack to get past the auto shield if needed. Map: Conflict Chernobyl w/glyphs Units: Bug w/4 life, Bucky, Spider-Man, Punisher, Robin (800) vs. Wrecking Crew (800)

Recap: Bug took a big hit early from a charging Bulldozer, and jumped away to land on a Pit Trap where he got stick long enough for Thunderball to finish him off. Without the Pit Trap holding him in place he would have been able to jump away to HG at least as he did block one attack while locked down. The Bug & Bucky combo did a fair amount of damage though before they fell. _____________________________________________________________ Army Test 2 - Does it pass, Yes or No? yes - What should be the unit's point value? 190 seems okay again. - Give a brief overview. Since you want to engage Bug to avoid the auto shield and Bug can then stealth jump away and force you to reengage all over again, he will try to stay close to Rocket. Magneto will also pull figures into engagement so Rocket can shoot at them while Arch Angle has another d20 power to get past that pesky Sue Storm boosted defense. Zemo provides a little OM flexibility to counter the multiple activations from Reed. Map: Conflict Chernobyl w/glyphs Units: Bug w/4 life, Rocket, Magneto II, Arch-Angel, Helmut Zemo (1200) vs. Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, She-Hulk, Iron Man, Iceman, Wasp (1200)

Recap: Magneto rolled terribly on defense and died way too soon and then Reed rubber wrapped Arch-Angle to keep him from avenging anyone. This threw Bugs’ whole team into disarray but Bug tried to salvage things by finishing off Sue, then Wasp, then Iceman and getting close to taking out Reed before She-Hulk ended things. I was planning on checking out the glyphs this game but once Reed locked down Arch-Angle it became too dangerous to risk landing on a Pit Trap as he was going to be my get out of jail free card.
