What do you guys think about making him a Criminal instead of a Thief? It seems like we're making a lot of the rest of the Sinister Six criminals, and it'd be kind of fun to put them all together in an army with Kingpin. Of course, I can do that without him being a Criminal, it just wouldn't be as much fun ...

I had a few ideas I was toying with for a bonding squad of 2 for the Thief Heroes. The nice thing is they're all fairly weak so giving them a couple henchmen to back them up shouldn't create too much fuss.

Catwoman, Chronos, Shadow Thief, Vulture, Gambit

Gambit being the most powerful in the bunch, but if he's not getting bonding with Prof X it should stay pretty balanced.

Vulture used Vulture Grab to move Trapster to height disadvantage early, but Trapster stopped him from using this trick after the first time, thanks to hot Paste Pot rolls. Trapster also kept winning initiative, but it wasn’t enough.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Vulture wins with 3 wounds on Turn 3, Round 3.

TEST 2
Map: Custom
Units: Vulture vs. Trapster (75)
Trapster didn’t hit as many Paste Pot rolls and Vulture had height advantage more often as a result.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Vulture wins with 1 wound on Turn 1, Round 3.

TEST 3

Units: Vulture vs. Shadowcat (80)
With nothing to stop Vulture from getting height advantage every turn here, Shadowcat was outmatched.

Units: Vulture vs. Shadowcat (80)
Same as the last match, but Vulture’s dice were much luckier than Shadowcat’s. There were about 3 four skull attacks (from height) for him.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Vulture wins with no wounds on Turn 1, Round 3.

TEST 5
Map: Custom
Units: Vulture vs. Angel (90)
This was a very close match. Vulture managed to swoop in and smack Angel down to get height most of the time, then Angel flew right back up to attack on even height on his turn. I think Angel’s a better teammate overall, but Vulture is probably better offensively. 90 is feeling good so far.

Units: Vulture vs. Angel (90)
Vulture just plain had better rolls here.

Units: Vulture vs. Toad (95)
A devastating 4 skull roll from height did Toad in here. Vulture’s better mobility and defense are definitely an advantage. 100 is looking plausible.

Units: Vulture vs. Toad (95)
Toad turned the tables here, using Tongue Lash to get height, then keeping it on an initiative switch to pummel Vulture for the win.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Toad wins with 2 wounds, Turn 1, Round 2.

TEST 9

Units: Vulture vs. Moleman (100)
Moleman just doesn’t have the same power without his Moloids around. And his D20 was as cold as ice here.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Vulture wins with Full Life Turn 1, Round 3.

TEST 10
Map: Custom
Units: Vulture vs. Moleman (100)
Moleman’s D20 was a lot hotter here, but Vulture still mostly held height advantage and Moleman couldn’t do much offensively without Moloids, so Vulture won a squeaker.

Even with height and tough to crack defenses, Vulture can’t hold up to the attrition here.

Four attacks a turn was harsh, but the first Agent fell fast, and Vulture had height the entire match. Attacks of 2 don’t fare well against defense of 6.

- What should be the unit's point value? 80? Hard to say, this was slaughter all over.
- Give a brief overview. Spidey owns his enemies en masse, which is fun.

Units: Vulture (90), Electro (135), Venom (150), Doctor Octopus (225) (600) vs. Luke Cage (190), Spider-man (250), Jewel (150) (590)

Spoiler Alert!

The plan was for Vulture and Electro to advance and Vulture to Talon Grab enemies into Electro’s Electric Skin. Vulture took Doc Ock along with them, just because he could. The results? Spidey Web-Slung Doc Ock into Electro first and put 3 wounds on him, then finished him off with a normal attack from height. Then Vulture got Spidey for one Electric Skin wound, but was then hit himself for one Electric Skin wound. Spidey’s senses kept him safe from normal attacks and Spidey’s normal attacks, along with Luke Cage for backup, had Vulture and Electro both taking dirt naps by round two. They did the same to Venom in Round 3 to finish this one out.
I’m loving that Spidey acts as a great counter for his Sinister Six! They have synergies together with Vulture in the mix, but Spidey counters those synergies very well.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Spidey with 1 wound, Luke Cage with 1 wound, and Jewel with Full Life win Turn 1, Round 3.

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 90
- Give a brief overview. This felt very balanced. Vulture didn’t get a lot of play overall, though. As I suspected, he’s better one-on-one than in armies, where it’s a tad harder to put an Order Marker on him.

Spoiler Alert!

The Hired Guns got things out to an early start by killing off Red Skull and Madame HYDRA and most of the HYDRA Agents with Kingpin and Doctor Octopus’s help. With Kingpin getting all of the Order Markers, Vulture didn’t get any activations until late in the game, when he tried helping Kingpin with clean up efforts against Baron von Strucker. Strucker busted out his Death Spores and piled up the wounds on Vulture, Kingpin, and Ock, taking all three out after a few rounds. Vulture put one wound on Strucker during this onslaught. Elektra and Electro then finished off a plucky Toad in the final rounds. Vulture died in Round 9, courtesy of Strucker.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Electro wins with 1 life left on Turn 3, Round 12.

Interesting stuff. Sorry, had everything ready to go at 10:30! I wanted to pounce on this one so I could help other people starting tomorrow. I'll send this out to the ERB in a bit, but 24 hours are on the clock as of my last post. He feels perfect at 90. A great counterpoint to Angel.
