That's what I get for updating when I'm tired. Funny thing is, I tried to double check the other powers to make sure I wasn't missing any cases of "Magic Marker". quozl's shortening looks good. SP updated with that.

As for markers, green is based on Spectre, white on Black Adam/Captain Marvel, and yellow on Etrigan.

For green, how about the hood from the first, the face from the second, or the flame from the third below (no strong preference from me, whichever works best for the marker):

This would be my preference:

Hood > Flame > Face
Trident > (Flame) > Face

Tying them to specific characters undermines the "keep it vague, thus thematic" direction.

It's not the best mini photos but I did the best I could with what I had.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Cards added to the OP. Markers look good, but any chance we could get a different shade of green as the background for the hood, to make the whole marker green? Or would that just not look quite right?

Bush sent me some new pictures...much better I think. How does the marker look now?
