Sorry this took so long, its been a little hectic this week. I think the votes were 6-3 in favor G-O and the Greeks.

OK, here we go.

Round 1 initiative
G-O: 7
LoB: 15

1. Kurrok sends two Water tunneling to the middle of the map and a Fire up to the bridge.

1. Marcus moves down the side of the bridge and the Band take the bridge.

2. Kurrok sends one Water to take a glyph (attack +1) and the other to height in the middle of the map and another Fire up to the bridge.

2. Marcus moves closer to the wall and more Band take the bridge.

3. Kurrok sends three Fire further down the road.

3. Marcus moves behind the wall and more Band take the bridge.


Round 2 initiative
G-O: 20
LoB: 7

1. Marcus moves to attack Water on the glyph but whiffs. Band move up the road..

1. Water on the glyph retaliates with a wound on Marcus. Water on height gets three wounds on Marcus. Fire elemental further down the road.


2. TSA douse two Fire.



2. Kurrok attempts to summon a lost fire elemental but standing in water must have ruined it.

3. Marcus moves to attack Water on the glyph but whiffs. Band move up and finish the job.



3. Kurrok sends the other Water to take the glyph back and attack Marcus to no avail. Fires move up road.


Round 3 Initiative
G-O: 3 LoB: 15


1. Earth and Air move up,and Air destroys a band.



1. Marcus kills Water on glyph. Two Band whiff Air.


2. Air moves to glyph and wounds Marcus. Earth and the other Air each destroy a Band.



2. TSA takes other glyph and come up empty on their attacks.


3. Air blows around but not through Band but his counterpart takes the wind out of Marcus.



3. TSA stifle the Air on glyph.



Round 4 Initiative
G-O: 16 LoB: 5


1. TSA destroy the last air (for now), but their arrows bounce off the Earth.



1. Earth moves? Not sure how I missed this. Sorry.


2. TSA move to the Glyph of Sturla in the middle of the map. Painful rolling of the 20d ensues with expected results. Zilch. TSA kill two Earth.



2. Kurrok moves and fails to summon.


3. TSA kills Fire and move toward a trapped Kurrok behind the ruin.



3. Kurrok cowers behind the ruin and summons a Water.


Round 5 Initiative
G-O: 19 LoB: 14


1. Somehow two TSA miss the newly summoned Water despite rolling with height and two Astrid bonuses.


1. Fire sears TSA. Water kills TSA on glyph. Another fire fails to sear but kills TSA anyway.




2. TSA snuff Fire.



2. Kurrok summons Water.


3. TSA move up.


3. Kurrok summons Fire.



Round 6 Initiative
G-O: 18 LoB: 17


1. Band move up.


1. Kurrok summons Air.


2. Band move up.


2. Air moves to glyph. Both Waters attack Band killing one.



3. Band hide behind ruin.


3. ?



Round 7 Initiative
G-O: 4 LoB: 10


1. Kurrok summons Fire.


1. TSA stifles Air from height, but water defends their attack.



2. Fire sears three Band. Ouch! Water drowns two TSA. I thought this Sear sounded a little too powerful! I just double checked the card and LoB should have rolled for each figure. Oh well, next time. I think we messed up the Air’s special as well.



2. Lone TSA misses Water.


3. Kurrok summons Air.


3. Band move up, this time four! Sadly, for almost 7 full rounds I only used three per activation. We really botched this game. I find I have trouble focusing on the game as I am trying to keep track of what is going on for the report.


Round 8 Initiative
G-O: 3 LoB: 7


1. Air blows last TSA off the map.



1. TSA.



2. Elementals move. Fire fails to singe Band.


2. Band move up the road, miss Fire or is that misfire.


3. Kurrok moves and fails to summon. (Finally)


3. More Band move up the road, this time putting out the Fire.



Round 9 Initiative
G-O: 19 LoB: 18


1. Band move up the road, quench Fire but fail to evaporate Water.



1. Water returns fire? killing Band. Air blows away another Band. Water on height misses Band on other glyph.



2. Band extinguish Fire.



2. Air moves to attack adjacent to two Band but whiffs. Water over hydrates Band on glyph.



3. Band move up, calm Air’s turbulence.



3. Water drown two Band.



Round 10 Initiative
G-O: 3 LoB: 7


1. Kurrok moves to recently vacated glyph and fails to summon.


1. Band move up.


2. Kurrok again fails to summon.


2. Band move up.


3. Water fails against Band.


3. Two Band summon a beatdown on Kurrok for four wounds. Summon some!



Round 11 Initiative
G-O: 12 LoB: 6


1. Band takes a leaving engagement strike from Kurrok, mistake, but they still kill Kurrok and Water on height in the middle of the map.



1. Kurrok.



2. Band move toward last Water.


2. Last Water runs/disperses into the lake and kills Band on the hill.



3. Band jump the wall.


3. Water drowns Band.



Round 12 Initiative

1. Band plod forward.


1. Water drowns another Band.



2. Band plod forward again.


2. Water drowns another Band.



3. Band plod forward again.


3. Water moves to glyph then drowns Band.



Round 13 Initiative

It’s down to one Band and one Water.


1. Water whiffs!


1. Band whiffs! Noooooooo!


2. And then it happened. Water pulls the last Band standing into the darkness of the bottom of the lake. 3 skulls – 2 shields

I will need to get out of my horrific die rolling streak to win at anything right now. It's so bad I've stopped getting angry. It's more of "Why wouldn't I come up empty?". An example or two you say? Well, we played a quick castle storm scenario the other day and even with the height bonus from the castle and the defensive aura bonus of a rarely used Kyrie figure , I could not buy a shield. The rolls have just kept coming in my daily lunch time Summoner Wars battles this week. I missed 8 or 9 straight attacks with the Fallen Kingdom against the Vanguards (I still almost won, baby steps).

I just need to roll through this rough patch. Or maybe play a few games that don't have dice for a while.
