I have found some comments that in certain situations a door is targetted like a "figure", so I am unsure on this one. We may need a specific ruling on this one.

Per the Fortress instructions: The Door may be attacked by a normal attack, a special attack, or by special powers that only cause wounds. The Door is not a figure. Special Powers that are not necessarily an attack cannot affect the door. Examples: Morsbane’s Rod of Negation,
Ne-Gok-Sa’s Mind Shackle, & Agent Carr’s Ghost Walk. Also, the door is not affected by Raelin’s Defensive Aura.

Every situation like this is debated in the Editing room, because destructible objects are not well-incorporated into the game. It makes developing new powers a pain sometimes. I would have to discuss with other rules people, but I believe the answer is Yes. A Door can be attacked as if it were a figure, so powers like Blood Frenzy would apply, since the Door would be the defending (pseudo-)figure.

I'm developing some ideas for one of my projects I'm working on and I need some help from you guys if you would be so kind. What would you classify an ability that happens after moving and before attacking.
Obviously there are movement powers and there are attack powers, along with defense powers, but what would you guys call an ability that happens "after moving and before attacking." I know its considered a special power or special ability but I'm looking for a classification name.

Well, as you might imagine, there isn't a term of art already existing for that.

You could borrow some lingo from Pathfinder, and call it a "Swift Action." Something like that. "Some cards have abilities called 'Swift Actions.' A Swift Action is one occurring after moving has been resolved, and before attacking begins."

I didn't think there was a term for it in existence so I figured here was the place to ask. Thanks for the suggestion DS. I do regularly take terms and cool mechanics from other games as well. I'm going to have to think about this one. My idea is there, it just needs a little work on the presentation.
