Re: The Book of Mok
Playing Mok against an all melee army is a very different experience from playing against a range army. Against melee he's getting 3 attacks every turn but also is limited to the survivability of his life and defense.
Handle origin: I used to film comedy skits with my friends. I didn't want any cursing in them, so I made up new insults, like "dendrik". Then Sir Denrick came out, and the rest is history. |

Re: The Book of Mok
In the games I have played with him, if he had a screen of dwarves and he was fully stocked with gunners, he dominated melee armies.
Have been playing, Mok Mogrimm Forgehammer Axgrinders X2 First two turn markers go on the Dwarves so that I can equip Mok with gunners and start getting a melee screen. Third turn marker goes on Mok who can usually start taking shots at incomming units. Beat, Marrden Hounds X2 Drones X3 Su-Bak-Na pretty easily with this army even though Su-Bak-Na almost took out Mok. This Mok army may be what I take to NHSD next year. |

Re: The Book of Mok
Just played an HoSS playtest against this guy by myself and he went down quickly to Quahon. He took 4 wounds after a 5 skull attack from Quahon. Then landed a few wounds on him before going down with 2 Dwarves on his back. Still had fun! This guy has become a favorite of mine. Again, thanks C3V for putting out great units like Mok.

Re: The Book of Mok
Forgive the newbie question, but I'm pretty new at rebasing. Should I drill a hole in the base for the peg coming out of Mok's foot? Or saw the peg off?

Re: The Book of Mok
For mine, I cut off the peg and glued him to the base, after removing some of the base sticker where his feet were placed.

Re: The Book of Mok
I sanded off the peg and left him baseless. He's remarkably well balanced.

Re: The Book of Mok
I clipped off the peg with a shear-like tool (scissors would work also) and glued it to the base.
