The Book of Mister Terrific (Michael Holt)

This was my take on his cloaking type power:

OFF THE GRID
Opposing players cannot choose Mister Terrific for special powers at the start of the game or for any special power on the Army Card of an Android that player controls. Androids cannot target Mister Terrific for non-adjacent attacks.

And in my take on him, I put Contingency Plan (which Oracle has) as a synergy type of power, but I'm not saying we couldn't come up with something more original here if we wanted to.

Just tossing out some ideas.

For the T-Spheres, I'd go with a glyph that couldn't be used by others and that couldn't be separated from him, stick with the static flying, and then let him give clear sight to all figures you control to any figure adjacent to a T-Sphere, and let him attack with the actual T-Spheres (just kicking some ideas around, I know this is all very rough).

Anyway, just some ideas. If you're really feeling what's on the SP currently, I can go with it.

I like Off the Grid. Not sure how I feel about the rest of that. Getting Glyph or DOs involved here just doesn't feel right if he's the only one who can use the T-Spheres.

Did you read all of Bats post? If MrT is the only one who can use it, or at least use it in a beneficial way, it can remain thematic.

I may come up with a rough draft for this tangent of an idea later, and see if you guys think it is worth exploring. I am not trying to take over here or anything, it's just the kid in me really wants to see those T-glyphs flying around.

I had some ideas and I wanted to type them up. If they are bad, just toss em, if you like anything, use it. The Adaption power creates a ton of unthematic situations, so I think that HAS to go.

T-SPHERE CREATION
Start the game with 6 T-Sphere destructible objects on this card. Each time an Order marker is revealed, you may place a T-Sphere from this card onto any empty space within 4 spaces of Mister Terrific.

T-SPHERE TACTICS
When rolling for initiative, you may either;
- choose an enemy figure that is within 4 spaces of a T-Sphere and add 1 to your roll for each Order Marker on the chosen figure's card, or
- place each T-Sphere on any empty space within 4 spaces of its current location, or
- destroy any number of T-Spheres.

When a T-Sphere is destroyed, roll 1 unblockable attack die against each figure adjacent to it that does not have the T-Sphere Tactics special power.

I really dig that approach to the T-Spheres! With the last two powers, I think you could combine them like this:

T-SPHERE TACTICS
When placing Mister Terrific in your start zone at the beginning of the game, place 6 T-Sphere destructible objects on any empty spaces within 4 spaces of Mister Terrific.
When rolling for initiative, you may either:
- choose an enemy figure that is within 4 spaces of a T-Sphere and add 1 to your roll for each Order Marker on the chosen figure's card;
- place each T-Sphere on any empty space within 4 spaces of its current location; or
- destroy any number of T-Spheres.

Yep, that does look like a lot more fun mechanically - I can't comment thematically. But I like this write-up better.

Some thoughts to ponder . . .

How many T-Spheres has he ever been seen using at one time? The comic art seems to show only 3 at a time, which leads to the next question

After they are destroyed, should he be able to bring more onto the battlefield?

Can multiple Mr. T's use the same T-Sphere DO's in a mirror battle?

And he really can only fly if they are there with him.
