Re: The Book of Dalek Drones (FINAL EDITING)
Well dang. Do we need A3n’s input on that?

Re: The Book of Dalek Drones (FINAL EDITING)
Did we ever make a final call on publisher? I'm still leaning towards Panini but here are the main options I'm considering, in order of preference;
1. Panini Comics (it's always bothered me that they're not called Panini Press) The current publisher of Doctor Who Magazine, which has a long-running comic in every issue. Also a few other magazines and things like that over the years. Quite a few Dalek appearances. 2. Titan Comics The current owners of the rights to publish DW comics. They don't actually have the rights to the Daleks, so one has never actually appeared on page, although they have written stories that try to work around that, and Daleks are often mentioned too. This would be the publisher I'd stick most of the other DW designs under. 3. BBC Books The BBC itself published 2 graphic novels with the Daleks. I personally just think the BBC logo would be really out of place on a C3G card, since they're not really a comics publisher. |

Re: The Book of Dalek Drones (FINAL EDITING)
I favor all DW stuff under the same heading so I vote for Titan.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Dalek Drones (FINAL EDITING)
Sounds like Panini is more accurate for the Daleks in particular, so I'd go with that.

Re: The Book of Dalek Drones (FINAL EDITING)
Generally speaking I would have agreed with Bats about keeping them all under one title, but here since Titan specifically can't publish images of them then I would go with option #1 even if the rest of the Who characters end up with the Titan tag.

Re: The Book of Dalek Drones (FINAL EDITING)
I guess. If they’re named in those comics they definitely exist in that universe, though. It’s odd for our Doctor Who stuff to reference multiple storyverses. Not a big deal ultimately, though, so I’m happy to cede to the prevailing tide.

Re: The Book of Dalek Drones (FINAL EDITING)
I'm pretty happy with Panini. There are some other characters I'd want to do that I'd probably put under Panini too (Abslom Daak and Frobisher maybe?), so they might not be alone forever.
Basically all DW material takes place in the same continuity (or lack of continuity) and Titan has brought in some concepts from other EU sources like the audios or magazine comics, so I'm comfortable with multiple publishers. It's not like some properties where each publisher establishes their own continuity. |

So we just need art now, right? Is anyone in the Art Dept. active right now?

Thanks for jumping back in, A3n!
I think Ark, japes, and Soundwarp are all pretty busy right now. |
