Looks good so far, thanks! I like that you have to play aggressive with her and get a little luck to do well - feels appropriate for the character. If we end up dropping her points 10-20 (depending on other tests, that'll be OK by me. Liking that she plays well with Hal too.

Most Lanterns aren't too worthwhile once their markers are burnt out, so I'm OK with that.

- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 340 seems right for this test
- Give a brief overview. Sapphire works very well with Hal since he likes to get tied up in engagements, and she can get that nasty double attack in there to help him out. She didn’t seem unbalanced, if anything she was a tad underpowered, this game win was mostly due to a ton of lucky fearless charge rolls from Green Lantern. I am worried at how well she will fare in a longer game, she sort of fizzles out pretty fast.

Units: Star Sapphire, Green Lantern (Hal) 690 (VS) Sinestro, Yellow Lantern (Scarecrow), Sinestro Corps Soldier x1 680

Spoiler Alert!

The game opens with Green Lantern rushing to meet Scarecrow in the middle of the battlefield. Scare crow takes height and makes a lucky 3 damage shot on Hal, but he gets engages him and the soldier and deals one damage to the soldier and another to Scarecrow. Star Sapphire takes a turn to move up but doesn’t inflict any wounds, Scarecrow fails to damage GL. Hal then goes on a blazing 6 turns with fearless charge and kills scarecrow and runs the soldier out of batteries. Hal then loses 2 batteries to Sinestro before he can deal a wound to him. The two exchange blows for a while, wearing each other down slightly, but then Sapphire uses love bonds to deal 3 wounds to Sinestro. Another love bonds takes out Sinestro’s last battery, and Hal lands the killing blow. Sapphire takes out the soldier.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Heroes win: Green Lantern with 3/4 wounds and 1 battery, Star Sapphire with no wounds and 2 batteries.

- Does it pass, Yes or No? Maybe? I might not have played her as well as I could have, and dice weren't exactly in her favor, but I still could see her dropped to 330 or even 320.
- What should be the unit's point value? 320-330
- Give a brief overview. As I suspected, her usefulness really doesn't last that long in a prolonged battle. If you run out of batteries, you have an almost useless unit, if you don’t utilize her Love Bonds power, there isn't any way you will make up her points.

– Superman is Mongul’s champion, Hal is Sapphire’s beloved
Hal Jordan once again opened the battle with a charge to the center to take on Superman, however, with the help of Mongul, supes is throwing 9 dice, and it doesn’t take much to wear down on Hal’s shields. Carol uses two Love Bonds turns in a futile attempt to take on superman, to no avail, Hal is able to hold his own, but just barely, and his Shields are dwindling fast. Jade tries to move up from behind to bolster Hal’s Shield, she is even able to get a wound in, but the Warworld deal the final wound to Jordan. Kyle Rayner then moves in, and he turns out to be the one to save the day. His one decoy is able to hold off Supes for 3 rounds as he continually protects it with his sustained willpower ability, however, it takes a while to take down Supes and by the time the decoy goes down, Superman still has 2 life left. Rayner summons the Mech Warrior, who is able to protect himself, but unfourtunatly, Superman deals a crushing blow to Jade and she goes down. Rayner then goes absolutely crazy, destroying both Superman and Captain Marvel, as well as dealing 4 wounds to Marvel, taking 2 wounds and losing one battery (the construct is now destroyed) I then realized that Wonder Woman is actually very good against Green Lanterns, she kills Kyle in one hit and then moves on to take down Star Sapphire without taking any wounds.

Who won and how many wounds did they have? Mongul’s Champions win – Mongul with 4/6 wounds and Wonder Woman full health

Bizarro was Star Sapphire's beloved. The Warriors Three moved out and were met by Starr Sapphire who stayed within Bizarro's range. It was a tough fight for the Warriors Three, but they managed to take down Bizarro and then a three marker Star Sapphire. Huntress killed the wounded Volstagg, but Hogun finished her off.
Results: 3/6 Hogun, 0/4 Hellcat

Units: Star Sapphire, Jocasta, Asgardian Armor vs 4x Gorilla City Warriors, Solovar, Gorilla Grodd,

Jocasta was Star Sapphire's beloved. Jocasta moved out slightly. The Gorilla Warriors Grodd move forward. Star Sapphire moves and blasts at Grodd. The Warriors swarmed Jocasta and Star Sapphire, which causes some serious hurt for both parties (Jocasta's Forcefield). The two used their bonding to great effect, but they still fell. The Destroyer managed to sweep up the remaining warriors, Grodd, and Solovar though.
Results: Destroyer 6/8

I'm liking her as is at 330! What do you folks think? Are we ready to move to art?

I dunno, she had some low games but just as consistently did above her point cost. 340 feels better to me.

Well, Aggressive Sock is still signed up. Let's see what he's got before we move forward, then. It's looking 330-340 for sure, IMO.
