The C3V Rules team has officially reversed our decision on the interaction between Cling and Cyberclaw. This is part of an effort to make the ruleset simpler and more consistent.

Q: Can a Marro Gnid use cling if it is affected by Cyberclaw?
A: Yes. Moving a figure off the board onto a card is not considered to be a movement, since it does not end on a space. Therefore Cyberclaw does not affect Cling.

And we have a clarification of another R&C.

Q: Do Marro Gnids take leaving engagement attacks when they use Cling?
A: No. Moving a figure off the board onto a card is not considered to be a movement, since it does not end on a space. Therefore Cling does not cause leaving engagement attacks.
