Well, I know the obvious answer is, pay money. I'm going to save up, probably at a later date, but in the meantime I'm not exactly living on easy street. I barely have money for scape, all I have is RotV and a few figure expansion sets.

Anyways, I've been here for quite a bit now, and the novelty of hanging out in the forums and answering questions and getting into discussions has kind of worn off. What do you guys suggest I do to help out around here? I'm not necessarily chasing Contributor status, I just want to feel like my presence here is beneficial to the community.
Just in case you guys all don't know already, I try to avoid customs but anything else, like mapmaking or fanfic or whatever, I will go where I am needed

Well, if you have nothing specific, comment on mapmaker's threads. Make your own maps.

Or, you know, try out VC and C3G. Proxying is your friend.

Well, the most sought-after use of your time would be playtesting for any of the various customs projects around here.

Other than that I suppose map-making and online play are good ways to get involved.

You don't have access to the Curse of Ne-Gok-Sa Subforum. You can access it by going to your User CP under Group Memberships.

I am not sure about the site supporter part of the question, but you can lock up threads that you created.

You do not have the ability to lock up anyone else's thread.

How do you quote a single post when you are posting a link in a thread? All I can do is link the whole page. Help?

There is a number on the top of each post (your post that I quoted is #131; this post is #132). If you click on this number you will get only that post in a window. The URL in the address bar is what you would copy to use as a link.

Another thing you can do is rather than using the post number, you can use the little box to the left of the post date. This will post the thread page, but it will start be showing that particular post.
