Re: The Book of Chen Tang
As worded, he is immune to being Quivering Palmed himself since he ignores those markers on his card right?
EDIT: Re-read the card. It mentions they have to be your markers. Also it doesn’t work on Monks, but he could be Lycanthroped And the Lord said unto John, "Come forth and you will receive eternal life." But John came fifth, and won a toaster. My Customs |

They call me Chen Lang
If an opponent's Chen Tang used Quivering Palm on your Lycan-Chen Tang, your Lycan-Chen Tang would still receive those wounds at the end of the rounds. It works the same way if Morsbane get's negated. He's still negated, his Rod didn't just get recharged (although that would be cool!).

Re: The Book of Chen Tang
Anyone try this dude outside of a Monk build? I think he has a lot of potential. 13 or higher isn't too hard to roll, that ability could be nasty with a locked down board.
Chen Tang 90 Rats x4 160 MW 50 Cyprien 150 Sonya 45, or Isamu+Theracus 50 Chen Tang 90 Dividers x7 350 Zetacron 60 or two Wyrmlings to dance around (Or even Yi Feng to Monk it up ) Chen Tang 90 Cutters x4 200 Heracles 200 Isamu 10 Chen Tang 90 PKs x3 210 Rats x2 80 Master Lao Xin 130 (@ 510) Chen Tang 90 Blasts x2 120 Glads x4 320 (@530) Chen Tang 90 Raelin SotM 120 Xualtiaca Fire Ants x5 275 Isamu 10 The idea is to lock the board down with engagement, try to get Chen Tang to Palm something(s) big, then play defensively or just wait a long time for that thing(s) to die. I think it could work. Very cool unit. |

Re: The Book of Chen Tang
Palm Markers are cool, they really are, but the small/medium restriction keeps it from crippling most armies. Like obviously getting one on Raelin is big, but you still have to keep getting attacks on her if you don't want to let her stick around for 5 rounds. In tournaments where you mostly play 4-7 rounds, Palm Markers can be a bit slow.

Re: The Book of Chen Tang
Do palm markers stay on a card after a character dies?
Thinking specifically of someone like Azazel. I would think that they would stay, especially as Azazel's card states to remove the wound markers. An official verification would not hurt though. Thanks |

Re: The Book of Chen Tang
Yes. There's nothing that removes markers other than wound markers.

Re: The Book of Chen Tang
Something to add to the R&C's here and Azazel thanks to a question from diggitydingus on Discord: Palm Markers stay on a figure's card after it dies, so no matter how many times you resurrect Azazel he'll still have to deal with end-of-round wounds.
