Cool, thanks for the results! I found him to be just a tad high as well, but was factoring in potential there somewhat. Seeing he didn't really live up to it for you either, I could definitely see a slight (10-20) point drop for him, which I'm definitely fine with thematically.

We'll see what the third tester says, though!

Overall I really enjoyed Tempest, tile placing units can be tricky to pull off just right but I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head with Tempest. His tile placing is just the right balance between offensive and supportive, plenty of fun but not too strong. Water Strength 2 and Magical Defense also work well to give him solid survivability and reliability, which I felt was really nice when playing him.

I did feel his cost was a tad high, for while I enjoyed him and got to use him a decent bit, he never did an exceptional amount and his team lost all three games. His stats are awfully low for his cost, and Mystical Tempest isn't too likely to do a whole lot of damage against most armies (he really needs a cluster). I'd say closer to 200 would be a better fit for him.

- Give a brief overview. Luck really didn’t seem on the side of Tempest’s team. Both Killer Croc and Aquaman were killed in single attacks after only a couple turns, and initiative, alongside some other rolls, were obviously in favor of the Mutants. Tempest stayed alive for most of the game and got to place all his tiles, but looking back it just wasn’t all that useful because the rest of his team never really got to use them.

- Give a brief overview. The Hawks were stronger than I expected and Team Water just couldn’t hold out against them. Tempest and Aquaman didn’t get to tag-team like I was hoping. Tempest did alright but not nearly his points worth.

- What should be the unit's point value? 220 seems solid
- Give a brief overview. A tough match-up for the Titans, I wouldn’t expect them to get the win. I chose this match-up because John Stewart encourages clustering, which is exactly what Tempest wants; plus Mystic Tempest bypasses Mastermind’s and Jocasta’s powers. Tempest did his job and dealt plenty of damage, some better rolling by the rest of his team and it would have been real close.

I really think his strongest competitive use is making it easier for Aquaman and Killer Croc to hit their healing and killing rolls. Viegon only used this full combo in his first test and had some bad luck with Aquaman and Killer Croc both falling fairly early. So I do think there's some untapped potential there, but if results continue this way I would at least want to drop to 210.

Yeah, the first test had Army 2 win all but 1 initiative and multi activations from the mutants made it tough. That said, Tempest did well individually, but Aquaman getting one-shotted didn't help the team at all.

- Give a brief overview. Tempest's Mystical Tempest helped him out a lot, both with placing wounds and boosting his stats. Together with Raven and Superboy, the three of them could do a lot of damage.

Spoiler Alert!

Tempest did surprising well for how much his point cost was, I wasn't expecting him to last long. Beast Boy flew in carrying Tempest whilst Superboy and Raven flew in behind them. They quickly took the high point on the map, but it didn't take long for Iron Fist and Luke Cage to get up there either. By the time the fight between Tempest, Raven and Superboy against Luke Cage and Iron Fist took place, Beast Boy had flown back to get Lagoon Boy, Tigra was moving in and Moon Knight had used his Airdrop to get off the battefield. Tempest took on Iron Fist and Superboy was on height and taking on Luke Cage. Superboy's Titan Protector was stopping Tempest from taking any damage from Iron Fist, whilst Raven then took all the wounds from Superboy and kept moving one to an enemy every round, making them a very durable and powerful team. Tempest was on water and got 4 wounds on Iron Fist before Raven finished him with her Soul Self, but then a fully raged Tigra moved in and helped Luke Cage take out both Superboy and Raven quickly. Moon Knight then dropped in and placed a wound on Tempest before being pulled out again. Tempest then took out Tigra and Luke Cage through a mixture of Mystical Tempest, and being enhanced by water and height. Tempest only had 1 life left, and Moon Knight dropped in on Lagoon Boy and Beast Boy, taking out Beast Boy instantly. Tempest ran down and placed his last water next to Moon Knight, but failed to wound him. Moon Knight stepped onto the water and used his Cresent Darts to take out Tempest and wound Lagoon Boy. Lagoon Boy puffed up and placed 4 wounds onto Moon Knight, but Moon Knight attacked and placed 4 wounds on Lagoon Boy, finishing him off and winning the fight. Tempest did very well, and I enjoyed using him a lot.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Moon Knight with 4 wounds.

Tempest was killed much quicker, just because the Fantastic Four took more turns then the water users did. Tempest, Sub-Mariner and Aquaman moved in whilst the Fantastic Four moved in quicker. The Fantastic Four got to the centre first and took Aquaman out quickly. Tempest had managed to scatter 3 water tiles before going down to Mr. Fantastic, but whilst placing them did manage to get a wound on each memeber of the F4. Sub-Mariner shortly got rid of Mr. Fantastic as he had moved in with his Water Avenger ability. The water tiles Tempest placed however, proved to be valuable, as Sub-Mariner flew in on Invisible Woman, stood on the placed water tile next to her and placed 3 wounds on her, and she had already recieved a wound from Tempest's Mystical Tempest. Thing got 2 attacks of 10 from Invisible Woman's 4 wounds and Sub-Mariner fell. Killer Croc then moved in and used the same water tile that was placed by Tempest, and Death Rolled Thing to death. During the battle between Killer Croc and Thing, Human Torch flew in and took on Lagoon Boy, taking Lagoon Boy out in 2 turns whilst on height, even though Lagoon Boy was on one of Tempest's water tiles and was Puffed Up. This then led to Killer Croc against Human Torch. Human Torch managed to wound Croc from a distance, and then when Croc moved in, Human Torch used Supernova and burnt Killer Croc out. Although Tempest died early on, his water tiles proved valuable both for the 1 wound to each F4 member, and for later on for boosting the other water users.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Human Torch with 1 wound.
