I don't think so because we have ruled this situation before saying that powers that cause a lasting effect for Dr Doom still continue after he has lost the power. Like Dr Doom using Johnny's Supernova, he doesn't gain his powers back because the Supernova power that said he can't use any powers is no longer "on his card" (so to speak).

So if the Gauntlet is replicated then a gem is picked up, it's power is added to the Replicator glyph immediately & then the gem glyph is destroyed. At the end of the turn of the figure with the Replicator glyph, it no longer has the power of the Gauntlet but the gem's power is still attached to the Replicator glyph.

We can't rule one way for Dr Doom & then the other for this glyph.

We could say that this glyph cannot be replicated to avoid the issue.

If we can find good wording for it, I kind of like putting this on the "thou shall not replicate" list. Just because I don't see Forge, thematically, having the power to replicate a glyph this powerful.

What if the gauntlet has already absorbed the gems and Forge replicates it so now there's 2 fully loaded gauntlets running around? That would be crazy if one side had both!

This figure may additionally equip Infinity Equipment Glyphs. When an Infinity Glyph is equipped by this figure, this glyph immediately gains the special powers of the Infinity Glyph and the Infinity Glyph is destroyed. This glyph cannot be chosen for any special power or glyph and cannot be removed from the card of this figure by any special power or glyph unless it would be lost by receiving wounds. If this figure would lose this glyph, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 7 or higher, this figure does not lose a glyph this turn.

Edit: Although, I don't know if you need the "or glyph" part of the bolded clause. The thing you're using on the Replicator Glyph is still a "special power" so it'd apply even without that "or glyph" part, IMO.

- Give a brief overview. All the glyphs were used and got knocked around a lot. The Gauntlet absorbed 5 of the 6 gems at the end of the game and was knocked out of someone's hands once and two figures were destroyed that were holding it.
Map: Trystal
Units: Fantastic Four vs. Superman (II), Red Tornado, Ant-Man, Atom, Wasp, 6 ant swarms, 4 killer bees vs. Kingpin, Trapster, Whirlwind, Living Laser, Purple Man, Merlyn (all 1000 points).

Spoiler Alert!

Lots of glyph grabbing and knocking glyphs away. Whirlwind grabbed the gauntlet and added Mind to it before getting KOed by Superman. Mr. Fantastic grabbed it next and added Power and Soul but then is KOed by Red Tornado. Invisible Woman grabbed it and then lost it after getting wounded by Superman who grabbed it. Purple Man then used Reality Gem to great effect by throwing all OMs on insects and trying to steal heroes. This worked until Superman (immune to PM's shenanigans because of Mind) won initiative and KOed him. Merlyn, Living Laser, and Trapster tried to KO Superman but couldn't quite do it and he never lost the gauntlet.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Superman had 7W (out of 8 Life), Red Tornado had 4W (out of 6 Life), and Atom had 1W (out of 2 Life)

Looks good so far! Two quick questions:

1. How confusing was this in gameplay? i.e. once the Gauntlet was starting to get loaded up, how well were you able to remember and take advantage of whatever Gems it had at its disposal?

2. Once the Gauntlet was somewhat loaded up, how powerful was it? Was it too much of an advantage for the figure holding it (Superman, in this case)?
