I think we should change the wording on this card to allow for figures that might occupy the ruined battlement. It has a height of 1 and a figure can stand on it like they can a Manhole Cover and Turbo Lift. There are provisions for the placement of the occupying figure for those DO's after the DO is destroyed, and there should also be one for the Ruined Battlement. Also, another thing needing to be addressed for the Ruined Battlement, is that a figure on top of it should receive a wound when the Ruined Battlement is destroyed.

Current wording for Ruined Battlement:

When a Ruined Battlement is destroyed, all figures adjacent to it receive 1 wound.

My suggested change:

When a Ruined Battlement is destroyed, any figure on top of the Ruined Battlement, and all figures adjacent to it receive 1 wound. A figure that occupies a Ruined Battlement when it is destroyed is placed on the same space the Ruined Battlement was on and will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

And just to be clear -- A figure could choose to target the ruined battlement (or other DO for that matter) if another figure is standing on it, right?

Yep, that's why the provision is in there for the Manhole Cover and the Turbo Lift and the Warehouse. That's why I thought it would make perfect sense here. A figure would be able to use the Ruined Battlement to get height advantage, but they do so at their own risk of having it destroyed beneath them.

Character Bio - These ruined battlements are merely rubble, and though they can be used to step up and gain some height in a pinch, they can also be used as weapons, because when they are finally destroyed, the debris of mortar and bricks can injure anyone in its their path.

Cool, thanks. I had been thinking about this thing for the Ruined Battlement for some time, but kept forgetting. I went through this morning and printed (b+w on plain paper because I haven't gotten my lazy butt to making real cards yet) a bunch of cards that I hadn't had printed yet and when I got to the Ruined Battlement, it reminded me that figures should be able to stand on them and thus take a wound.

That was always my intent, but we did this one last minute and I haven't tested it yet or even played around with it.
