Re: The Book of Brother Voodoo - Vote for Playtesting
I really appreciate TB's eye for testing. Yea!

Re: The Book of Brother Voodoo - Public Playtesting
darkraptor's tests, though I'm not sure how much we can get from them. He played some weird armies and some strange strategies. Voodoo would have been much better off attacking Strange himself in the first one, but Strange should have been attacking him back rather than sending in Superman.

Re: The Book of Brother Voodoo - Public Playtesting
Yeah, those are kind of inconclusive. Nothing to inspire any changes, I guess.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Brother Voodoo - Public Playtesting
Dysole (who signed up, though I don't think he posted publicly) brought up a good point:
Quote:
MYSTICAL SMOKE After revealing an Order Marker on a card you control, you may reveal an 'X' Order Marker on this card. Until the next time you reveal a numbered Order Marker, Brother Voodoo and all friendly figures adjacent to Brother Voodoo no longer have any visible hit zones and will not take any leaving engagement attacks. Look good to everyone else? ".... the Cambridge ladies do not care, above Cambridge if sometimes in its box of sky lavender and cornerless, the moon rattles like a fragment of angry candy" |

Re: The Book of Brother Voodoo - Public Playtesting
Yeah, definitely an improvement. I do still think some folks will read it the other way, though, so throwing up an FAQ would probably be a good idea.

Re: The Book of Brother Voodoo - Public Playtesting
Tornado's tests. Without Wong or any support figures on his side, he's not really at his best, but nothing worrying right now. Hopefully Dysole and Viegon's tests will help confirm a cost.

Re: The Book of Brother Voodoo - Public Playtesting
Viegon's results, which are more helpful. A solid win, a huge loss, and a very close win, all with solid support on his side and against armies that are susceptible to mind-control. Looking solid so far.

Re: The Book of Brother Voodoo - Public Playtesting
This guy is due out in a few weeks (October 31st), so I think it'd be a good idea to see when the testers we have now will be done and move this out accordingly. I think our results are pretty consistent here, and most of them from reputable testers, so I'm pretty content with him.

Re: The Book of Brother Voodoo - Public Playtesting
Has he been in the Competitive forum yet?
If not I suggest getting him out there now for them to look over while the testers still have it in case they do find any issues that we need testing. Otherwise your plan is fine with me. Also, I will be on vacation form the 11th through the 18th. I'll have internet and will check in, but it would be a good idea to have a proxy LD. Anyone want to help out?
