Character Bio - On the asylum planet of Halfworld, certain experiments were performed on animals with the ultimate purpose of creating a staff to take care of the inmates. Rocket Raccoon was one of these animals, and became their leader, protecting Halfworld from the myriad enemies who sought to threaten it. Eventually, Rocket was forced to abandon his homeworld and its people in order to protect them from the grave threat of the mind-jumping Star Thief. Years of wandering landed him in a Kree prison, where he was drafted by Peter Quill for a suicide mission to save the universe.

Thanks to his guile and never-back-down attitude, Rocket was able to survive, and alongside those that remained, helped form a team to combat cosmic threats big and small - the Guardians of the Galaxy!

Choose a figure to attack. Any figures adjacent to the chosen figure are also affected by this special attack. Rocket Raccoon only needs a clear sight shot at the chosen figure. Roll attack dice once for all affected figures. Each figure rolls defense dice separately. Rocket Raccoon can be affected by this special attack and can only use this special attack once per round.

TENACITY
Rocket Raccoon rolls one additional die against figures leaving an engagement with him and figures roll one additional die against Rocket Raccoon when he leaves an engagement.

I think support fire should be toned down a bit.

Looking at it in hindsight, I agree - in what way? Replace the autoskull with a die? Add a d20 roll? Lower range? Add restrictions (non-adjacent, adjacent, etc)?

Even just adding a die would be fine. Otherwise a d20 autowound would work.

I think it's fine but if you want to tone it down a little without making it too weak (it's supposed to be a second figure firing at the same figure ):

SUPPORT FIRE 5
When a friendly figure attacks an opponent's figure within 5 clear sight spaces of Rocket Raccoon with a normal attack, if Rocket Raccoon is unengaged, you may subtract 1 die from the attacking figures' roll and add 1 automatic skull to whatever is rolled.

BFG is the same power as Green Arrow's Exploding Arrow Special Attack so you cannot use that power with that name.

Does he need the F4 synergy? Why the connection?

BFG is 6 Attack at 5 Range; Green Arrow's is 3 Attack at 6 Range. I think that's different enough mechanically.

And for the F4 synergy, well, he's an Adventurer. I can't really think of any other good classes for him.

I think I'd rather see War Machine's suppressive fire reused than yet another attack bonus.

Do you mean War Machine's Auto Chain Gun? Ugh. I don't like him in a Fan Four build with that power. It's tough enough getting close enough to Invisible Woman to take her out, and if you don't, the Fan Four's defense is all but impossible to crack for a lot of opponents.

I'd much rather stick with an offensive bonus. Maybe a D20 roll to add an auto skull? Like 15+ you add an auto skull to the attack? (That'd way tone it down).

Oh, so no common class for the guardians btw, huh? I do seem to recall you saying you just wanted to design them to work well with each other.

The problem with a class like Adventurer, though, is he'll always default to a Fan Four build, because it'll just be a much stronger build for him.

What about something unique, like Rapscallion?
