So just wondering but does the Tyranid Carnifex & Tyranid Hive Tyrant fit well on a Large Heroscape Peanut?

I bought both models and was wondering, because I was thinking of turning them into a Marro Hivelord, and Marro Swarmlord.

The carnifex can, though I'm not sure on the tyrant.

Based on what I know of 40k lore, I think Hive Tyrants are smaller than Carnifexes - so if the Carnifex can I would imagine the Hive Tyrant can - I'm far from sure, though.

I would also assemble it carefully, it could get top heavy and tip over on you pretty easily.

I was thinking of putting a heavy metal under the base or inside some of the lower hollow areas or core regions.

I used to play 40k(tyrands actually). they should fit if you position them right and yes the tyrant is smaller. also I used modeling clay in my 40k bases to help balance them.

These might be close enough to what you are wanting. Figures require assembly and painting. Available from Miniature Market. 30 figures for $16.46 plus shipping.


I bought these to make Sacred Band proxies. Now, if I could find time to finish painting them.


Edit: made by Wargames Factory. Lots of different 28mm figures available from different historical eras and fantasy/sci fi. Romans, Celts, Saxons, Vikings, Persians, Zulu, Revolutionary war, WWII, Zombies, Orcs, and more. Careful when ordering, they do make some 15mm figures, too. Almost ordered them before.
