Common squad, and 3 figures rather than squads. Wording can be tweaked.

The overall theme of this card has me wanting to see Investment Markers included somehow, but maybe that's too niche?

Feels like they probably favor the Mastermind pairing over the other two, but I don't think there's anything super concerning. I'll look over the interactions available to see if anything stands out.

A few:


1) It allows for more interesting variation in miniatures, which I like for a rag-tag band of mercenaries and which in turn
2) Puts less of a strain on each individual figure's availability (I seem to recall that the Dark Knight one, my favoured sculpt for this design, was quite rare); and
3) Gives them a little more fight once their leaders are dead, or if you activate them via Helmut Zemo's Master of Deception power.


Though I kind of like the Invesment Marker idea, I don't like the idea of something that complex for what is basically a baseline, bread and butter frontline squad. I can see it on some sort of Merc leader/paymaster type down the line, though, if someone wanted to design that.

That's cool with me - I think Mercs and Terrorists will be used quite a bit still thanks to being generally better front-line fighters (Deathstroke, Deadpool, Gorgon and Omega Red are not characters to be sniffed at at all).

That last power is such a negative I'm not worried about anything breaking with them. I mean the first power is useful, but arguably Riddler , Mad Hatter, and Scientist Supreme (maybe Ra's) are the only ones I see it being great on. Plenty of other figures make it a fun option but they don't improve in any kind of broken way. Ultimately, that's what these guys are; an option. Often you'll just want to attack with the hero
