If a card referring to "figures" also refers to DOs, would a DO thrown at Electro first have to roll for Electric Skin 12 before rolling for throwing damage?

I’m not sure on the timing without consulting the throwing rules but if a DO were placed next to Electro, yes, Electric Skin would trigger.

So Electric Skin says this;

If any figure without the Electrically Charged special power moves adjacent to Electro, you must roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 12 or higher, that figure receives one wound, and you may roll again for Electric Skin. Figures may be initially targeted only as they move adjacent to Electro.

Throwing rules say this;

• Place the Destructible Object on an empty space within the number of spaces indicated above according to the object’s corresponding size.
• Roll a number of Attack dice equal to the remaining life points on the Destructible Object’s Army Card once. The thrown Destructible Object and all other Destructible Objects and figures adjacent to the thrown Destructible Object are affected.

Since the placement and the rolling for damage are separate pips, I'd read them as being separate actions, so I'd personally put Electric Skin in between those actions. It happens after movement is done, which is theoretically before throwing damage is rolled for.

Seems odd that a DO would possibly take damage from Electric Skin. I dont believe that was the intent.

I guess it's weird that a lot of DOs would take "damage" by having an electric current flow through them. A manhole cover isn't really affected either way. But stuff like cars and computers definitely should be.

Not sure a rock or a car is going to take damage. If a car takes actual damage and possibly a lot of damage based on the d20 roll, then that much electricity should insta-kill non super strength heroes.

I don't have a horse in the race. Just saying it isn't thematic. Though I suppose it's more of a mechanical thing that matters.
