Character Bio - In a rare but not unheard of occurrence, a Parademon realized some measure of individuality and fled to Earth to have his freedom. This one had killed many warriors of the New Gods and carried with him ten Mother Boxes as trophies. They would not open Boom Tubes for him but would comply with some other requests.

This unnamed Parademon was drafted by Mockingbird, secretly Lex Luthor, into the Secret Six as agents against the newly founded Secret Society of Super-Villains. Blackmail was necessary to get Parademon's compliance, so Mockingbird held over his head the threat of giving Granny Goodness his location. He served the Secret Six loyally and developed a strange and protective rapport with Ragdoll, who he referred to always as "Clown." His upbringing on Apokolips left him with a warped perception of reality. He found terrible things amusing and beautiful things unpleasant. When the Secret Six were captured by the Secret Society, he enjoyed his torture at the hands of the Crime Doctor as it was like the old days with Granny Goodness.

In a surprising move, this Parademon chose to sacrifice his own life when the Secret Six were cornered in their own base by an army of other supervillains. He set his ten Mother Boxes to self-destruct to give the others the opportunity to get away. Ragdoll found his dying body, burned and with three of his limbs blown off. He asked Ragdoll to tell him a joke, but Ragdoll once again insisted he was not a clown nor was he funny. But he did comment on the fact that the Parademon was about to die without ever having had a name or a home. The Parademon laughed and told Ragdoll that he was funny before dying. (Comicvine.com)

When rolling attack dice, if Parademon rolls a skull on every die, the defending figure immediately receives one unblockable hit before rolling defense dice.

DEADLY SWIPE
If Parademon rolls a skull against a figure leaving an engagement with him, that figure receives an additional wound.

MOTHER BOX BANDOLIER
When Parademon would receive any number of wounds from an opponent's attack, instead of placing those wounds, you may immediately use Mother Box Bandolier. Roll 3 unblockable attack dice against each figure within 3 clear sight spaces of Parademon, one at a time. After using Mother Box Bandolier, destroy Parademon.

Design looks good. So there is a particular Parademon that is actually called Parademon & this is a design of him . Not a design of a generic Parademon in the army of Parademons?

Yep. He was in the Secret Six for a while. He was a Parademon who they called Parademon, oddly enough.

I think this one's golden though I suspect the cost will come down slightly.

Oh, and the Defense should be 5 to match the shock troopers. Not sure how that got changed.

Well that would have a price impact, but I suspect he'll still be closer to 230 or 240.

My only qualms are in "Exploding Mother Box Bandolier" which is sort of a clunky name, and his overall powerlevel. An average Parademon is worth 40 points... is he really THAT much more skilled than average? I'd rather have him under 200 if possible.

He is better than your average parademon. He escaped from Apokolips and stole 10 mother boxes. I could remove "Exploding" from the power name to get it less clunky and bring down Life to get him less points if the group wants it.

Interesting design. That Exploding Mother Box might make him a little swingy but tests will bear that out.

Possible issues with Exploding Mother Box Bandolier:

Is it an out of turn attack? I don't want it to be.

If there are only two figures left and one figure attacks Parademon from a range of 3 or less and Parademon explodes, I think that whoever controls Parademon wins because the wounds are dealt immediately, before Parademon is destroyed. Is that right? And is that an issue?
