Re: Jocasta - Design Phase
NAME = JOCASTA
SPECIES = ANDROID UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = ADVENTURER PERSONALITY = SELFLESS SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 5 MOVE = 5 RANGE = 4 ATTACK = 4 DEFENSE = 5 POINTS = 180 SELF-SACRIFICE If a friendly figure within 3 clear sight spaces of Jocasta is attacked with a normal attack and would receive one or more wounds, Jocasta may move adjacent to that figure, if possible, and receive those wounds instead. If she does, and the attacking figure is within 4 clear sight spaces of Jocasta, the attacking figure receives one wound. When Jocasta uses Self-Sacrifice, she will take any leaving engagement attacks. REPELLING FORCE FIELD Whenever Jocasta is attacked with a normal attack from an adjacent figure and takes no damage, you may choose up to X empty spaces in a straight line from the attacking figure and place the attacking figure on any of the chosen spaces. X is the number of defense dice that show a blank. A figure moved by this special power never takes any leaving engagement attacks and can receive any falling damage that may apply. ULTRON IMPERATIVE 4 Whenever Jocasta is chosen for Ultron’s Program Transmission 20 special power, add 4 to the 20-sided die roll. Re: Jocasta - Design Phase
Interesting. Basically a walking bomb with Fan Four synergy and lots of staying power (as well as an ability to get anybody except Blob out of her way to get to her intended target). Also a good minion for Ultron, of course. I think 170 might be a tad low, but her offensive potential outside of her self-sacrifice (which hurts her as well, of course) isn't phenomenal, so we'll see.
Still, 6 life and 6 defense should keep her around for a bit. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Jocasta - Design Phase
Great write up, love the powers! My only minor issue is that there is no reference to Hank Pym in any way shape or form, and the two have been hinted at multiple times as being romantically linked (due to her being programmed with Janet Van Dyne's brain algorithms)
Semi-Retired C3G Hero (and first Official Member of the C3G Target Audience!) The correct way to add C3G playtests to posts. My favorite day EVER on heroscapers. Re: Jocasta - Design Phase
Love the writeup! A character that I know very little about, but now need to get the figure for.

Re: Jocasta - Design Phase
You can't "move" an opponent's figure unless you specifically take control of them. Look at the edited version of Puppet Master for language. If you want to avoid "control", then it has to be a "placement" power.

Interesting write-up, I don't know the character so I'll just be watching this one .

Good call. Some of the Iron Men are probably good references to use here.

Re: Jocasta - Design Phase
So like this?
REPELLING FORCE FIELD Whenever Jocasta is attacked with a normal attack from an adjacent figure and takes no damage, you may move choose up to X empty spaces in a straight line from the attacking figure and place the attacking figure on any of the chosen spaces. X is the number one space for each of defense dice that shows a blank. A figure moved by this special power never takes any leaving engagement attacks and cannot be placed closer to Jocasta than its original placement. A figure moved by this special power can receive any falling damage that may apply. A figure moved by this special power never takes any leaving engagement attacks and cannot be placed closer to Jocasta than its original placement. Re: Jocasta - Design Phase
Knockback along with Repelling Force Field would be pretty neat. People flying all over the place.

Team her up with Superman or Cops to avoid wounds.
