- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.

PASS (Maybe. I'm not sure they're as useful as the 5th Precinct Beat Cops in a lot of situations, but if you build an Army around them I could see it being worth the investment.)

- STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game.
PASS (Yup. Very strategic; don't let the simple card fool you, you need to put a lot of thought into positioning them.

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? NO!
- What should be the unit's point value? 5 POINTS
- Give a brief summary. Absolutely terrible. They did literally nothing - 400 Points of Science Police were able to do about 30 Points of damage to Harley Quinn in total. Not strong enough to do any damage, no staying power. Not their niche.
Map: HYDRA Base Gehenna
Units: Science Police x5, Commissioner Gordon, Beat Cops x2 (620 Points) vs. The Joker, Harley Quinn, Deadpool, Bob, Agent of HYDRA (630 Points)

Spoiler Alert!

Team Insano wins; 1 Wound on Harley Quinn, all others unharmed, 4 Rounds.

ROUND 1: Joker wins initiative, and messes with markers. Bob moves first, scurrying out of the start zone. Gordon moves forward and calls up a handful of Police and Cops. Deadpool and Harley charge out of the gate. The Science Police move forward by one single space. Deadpool gets on top of the castle, Harley moves forward, and Gordon drags another cell of people ahead.

ROUND 2: Joker again messes with Order Markers. Deadpool and Harley move first, Deadpool killing a Cop and Harley throwing her bomb - she kills two Cops in the start zone, and the same amount of Police. Not Order Markers are lost, though. The Beat Cops organize and fire on Harley and Deadpool, but do no damage to either. Deadpool aims at Gordon and kills him with ease, while Harley kills a Policeman. The Science Police attack, but do nothing. Deadpool and Harley thin the ranks some more, killing the last Beat Cop. The Police are able to deal one wound to Deadpool.

ROUND 3: The round consists of Deadpool and Harley constantly attacking as the Science Police try to climb on to height. The Police are unable to do any damage to either figure.

ROUND 4: The Police start to build up some steam, wounding Harley and Deadpool in their first activation, but it's too little too late, and the Insane pair finish them off almost immediately afterwards.

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? YES!
- What should be the unit's point value? 80-90 POINTS
- Give a brief summary. Much better this time. Once they got the system going and got the high ground, it was like a well-oiled machine of death. I didn't even need the six attacks - heaven help the Skrulls if I did! Almost too strong, but next to last test's utter failure, a streak of good luck won't hurt.

Units: Science Police x3, Batman: Bruce Wayne, Robin: Tim Drake, Commissioner Gordon, Punisher, Huntress (1000 Points) vs. Super Skrull, Skrull Warriors x6 (1000 Points)

Team Science wins; 1 Wound on Gordon, 7 Science Policemen remaining, all others destroyed, 8 Rounds.

ROUND 1: Batman is Gordon's chosen hero. Super Skrull moves first, flying up onto the castle. Batman swings up, Robin runs forward a bit. A pair of Skrulls move out. Batman swings forward again. Robin swings onto the castle. Super Skrull diddles about. Gordon moves forward with some Science Police in tow.

ROUND 2: The Skrulls inch ahead, and Punisher does as well. Super Skrull flies across the battlefield and swings at Batman, but does no damage. Batman moves in to attack Super-Skrull, dealing two wounds; Robin can't do anything. The Skrulls fire on Robin, dealing a wound. Batman and Robin attack Super Skrull to no avail.

ROUND 3: The Skrulls stay back and fire on Batman and Robin, dealing one wound to Batman and two to Robin. Batman, on the other hand, keeps on the offensive, attacking Super Skrull for another wound. Super Skrull disengages and attacks Batman from range, dealing two wounds. Punisher comes up and uses his Assault Rifle on the Skrulls, but he can't do anything. Super Skrull swings at Batman and misses. Batman swings onto height, though away from Super Skrull, and moves Robin into an engagement; he attacks Super Skrull for two wounds.

ROUND 4: Super Skrull moves first, disengaging and flying over to near-Batman - he kills him with one hit, turning the tide of battle completely. Batman had the next two Markers, so Super Skrull goes to kill Robin next, then sends out the regular Skrulls to attack Punisher, dealing four wounds. Punisher retaliates by climbing a ladder and using his Assault Rifle as best he can, killing three Skrulls.

ROUND 5: Punisher takes the first turn, running onto the castle and firing wildly - he kills one Skrull from the start zone. The Skrulls close in on him and finish him off. Gordon moves onto the top of the ladder, and Super Skrull comes in to squash him, but can't; he's engaged, which lets the Science Police hammer him, dealing that last vital wound.

ROUND 6: With Super Skrull gone, Gordon moves onto the castle, bringing two Science Police up with him. The Skrulls move into action, firing on Gordon and dealing one wound. Huntress runs up, firing her Crossbow and killing one Skrull; the Skrulls retaliate, killing her in one lucky shot. They then move closer to the Lawmen.

ROUND 7: The Skrulls organize, firing on the Science Police and killing one. The Science Police respond by killing two Skrulls. The Skrulls move up, but the Science Police do, too, killing two more Warriors. The Skrulls kill a Policeman, and the Policeman fires back. Throughout the whole round, the Science Police are calling in reinforcements from the rear.

ROUND 8: The Police move forward, firing on the Skrulls, killing one. The Skrulls move in again and attack, but do no damage. The Police fire, kill another Skrull. The Skrulls make one last-ditch attempt, but do no damage, and the last two are killed next turn.

FINAL THOUGHTS: First match sucked, second was a major victory. Against squads and with height, the Science Police can really rock it, but are a bit tough to use and wicked weak if you don't have a good system prepared. So they might be a bit overcosted, but are a solid B at 80.

Yeah, they definitely struggled against heroes for me as well, but I'm OK with that. Their attacks caught up with heroes over time to an extent. I think there's also a learning curve on them, so I'm not surprised to see them doing better on the second test.
A B-rating is about as high as I'd want them to be, though, so I'm liking 80 points.

Please tell scapemage he needs to play two games with the unit at the cost that you send him. He does not need to adjust the cost for his second match.

I think they did have a strong showing there and will have to look at all the test results together soon at a later time and see what the trend is.
