I've read an issue or two and as I said the writing is fine (it's actually good), but I cannot get behind the premise of a career criminal who is dying deciding that he could be a better version of his arch-nemesis, taking over his body to prove it, and then killing off that nemesis so they don't share the brain anymore. My problem is the concept. Where does he suddenly get the desire to be a hero from? Why if he's a hero now does he kill Peter then? I see too many holes in the plot devise to allow it to stand.

He didn't want to kill Peter, he wanted to crush him, and outdo everything he's done. So he wants to take over the city, basically, and protect it as his own. Plus there's a remnant of Peter's mind still in there keeping him in check, subconsciously guiding him in a good path.

That's all the first few issues, though. The fun of the comic is that it's a constant downwad spiral, since you know it can't last forever. That said, Ock is an awesome Spider-Man, and I hope he can stick around to some degree.

Just finished the test for Mother Russia last night, and hoping to get this at least started tonight.

Just a heads up, I'm tweaking his stats to match Spider-Girl, since he plays a lot more fun this way! He was too fragile and was a bit un-fun, but this really helped. Hopefully will finish the initial tonight or tomorrow!

Finished everything but the 2nd army test. Ran out of time and had company over so had to pack it up. Might not get to finishing it for a bit, but it's almost done.

Up to you, not sure what the weekend will bring me yet. Plus we're waiting on Mother Russia before he hits the public anyway, so there's not a huge rush.

Yeah, if you're itching to do some tests, you might be better off doing army tests on the Anniversary Wave stuff still in public testing, Johnny.
