Summing up the thoughts on this design, the main questions were:
1) What happens if the replaced figure is removed from the card?
Well based on the very choice wording I put in, absolutely nothing happens. That construct could still use the special powers because it isn't using the powers of the figure on its card but the figure it replaced (which it still replaced on the battlefield even if the destroyed figure comes back from the dead.

2) Can the Contruct use all the powers on the figure's card thematically?

I would think so, since they are Energy there is a lot of theme flex in there too.

These two questions do bring something up for me though:
3) What happens if an Orange Construct steals the identity of someone who can come back to the game and then gets destroyed. Can that Construct come back to life?

I'm leaning towards no. And I think it would be easy to add wording to Orange Construct Creation to only allow them to be placed onto the battlefield with that special power.

OK, I'm reopening this design now. I'd like to keep everything the same except I'd like to raise the Attack to 4. Any objections?

No objections to attack of 4.

These guys will be tough to cost though with so many powers, like Dr. Doom's, Wolverine, Deadpool etc.

I have a feeling they will need a boatload of testing.

If the Orange Lantern gets killed before this guy gets out, then it's a waste of points. If an Orange Lantern puts the last wound on Dr. Doom or Superman, then you have a huge amount of return. With one Orange Lantern, it's easier to eliminate it and nullify these guys, but with several Orange Lanterns, the risk is greatly reduced in drafting these guys. I would just hate that they are done now and then find out later with more Orange Lanterns that these constructs are a lot more valuable because it will be easier for these guys to get on the board with more OL's to kill figures with.

There's only one Orange Lantern - Larfleeze. Lex was a brief exception, and Kyle Rayner also has a ring but isn't an Orange Lantern per se.

It's possible they'll make more in the future, but it's sort of defined as a "Corps of One."

They'll be heavily tested again when Larfleeze will need testing.
