The Book of The Doctor (11th)

The water is kind of muddy on who exactly invented it, but probably the Doctor. He does seem to be the only Time Lord who regularly uses one. My thinking on tagging Gallifreyans on the Glyph card is two-fold;

1) Allows the Doctors who don’t start the game with the Glyph to pick it up and still get the boost. Just cause the 6th Doctor doesn’t carry around a Sonic doesn’t mean he’s lost all proficiency with using it.
2) Allows somebody like the Master to pick it up and get the boost. Not the most thematically necessary thing ever, but fun enough. Whether the Doctor made it or not, the Sonic is still distinctly Gallifreyan tech, so it makes sense to me that Gallifreyans could figure it out a bit faster than most humans.

Not sold on it, but that’s my logic. I’m really fine with whatever as long as we can make sure the Sonicless Doctors still get that proficiency boost.

Fair enough. The idea that some Docs won't start with it and should still be able to use it as well sells me on the current direction.

Still happy with the draft as before. I'd go with Fast Talking 14 just for reusability, but other than that no issues!

Screwdriver seems kind of strong. 4+ to negate all powers forever since you can just never reveal an OM on his card again. He's not a guy you really need to be putting OM's on and could still move him around using other figures like Angle (carry) or Zemo (full turn w/o revealing an OM on his card). Given that it only works on a few units, it could be hard to balance him when playing vs. androids and not vs. androids.

It's not until the next time you reveal an order marker on his card, just until the next time you reveal an order marker anywhere. Could probably be like 'until the start of your next player turn' or something though I guess if that seems clearer.

I think the "you" there is the player. So unless the Player has lost the game, they'll reveal an Order Marker again.

Guess it could get rough in three plus games, though.

I like this design theme. Fast talking is going to be the exploit of there's one. Try him with Constantine. I'm sure you could build a super annoying to do anything army.

Idea; What if, instead of keying in on the 5 spaces thing, Fast-Talking has a slightly lower roll, but only works if there is a revealed numbered OM on his card? Seems a bit less exploitable, and less like he’ll just end up being a weird bodyguard character.

EDIT: And how does Fast-Talking work with Daring Decoy? Is that an exploit?
