Looking at queuing up some game with E. Honda. Are we settled with the version in the SP? I'm a little worried that his powers (at least Sumo Headbutt) will be underwhelming, paired with his stats and lack of synergy.

Anybody can have synergy in this game if you really want them to, though. Just make him an Avenger, or run him with Starlord, for instance. I'd say Enchantress as well but she's obviously out at this point.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Just because you can give a unit bonding and stat boosts doesn't mean that unit is worth playing. Also, if there are a dozen other units that are better (or more fun) candidates for Ms. Marvel or Star-Lord armies (or whoever), then those units are just always going to be picked over them. I'm not saying any of this applies to E. Honda, I'm just talking about balancing in general.

Taking a close look at E. Honda for the first time, I love both his powers, but I agree with TB that he seems a little weak. What about making Sumo Headbutt after moving and instead of attacking? Or even vice-versa; instead of moving could be pretty fun.

All I'm saying is that when units don't have built in synergy, the best way to create competitive builds around them is to bring the synergy to them. That seems like a good way to test any "synergy orphans," IMO.

For testing, yes, you should play them with figures that offer synergy, That's always how I test similar units. Once a unit is tested though, what's my incentive to draft that unit? The 90-150 range offers a number of valuable units. Kid Flash is 110 and great filler for stat-boosted armies, Angel, Weather Wizard, Diablo, and Spider-Girl are all good. There are also a few SAs and auto-wounders in that range.

I like the current E. Honda design, but I think he's going to feel a little weak. I like V's suggestions for Headbutt.
