Any thoughts on this direction? Dropped the blank and made it to where she doesn't have to be wounded for it to activate.

BINARY ENERGY DEFENSE
After defending against a normal attack from a figure within 6 clear sight spaces, if Binary is not destroyed you may do one of the following:
-if Binary rolled more skulls than the attacking figure, inflict a wound on the attacking figure.
-if Binary rolled more shields than the attacking figure, remove a Wound Marker from this card.

Honestly a power called Binary Energy Defense having 3 pips was bugging the hell out of me anyway

What if the healing was switched to trigger off of rolling more blanks? Then each symbol has a function - Carol's probably getting one or two of them each. attack, but most likely never getting all 3.

Would that take up too much headspace or would it feel funky if she healed after taking damage?

So like this? If so I'm cool with that. Easy enough to tweak it back to shields if its too rare of an activation.
